EE: Roxy
So we've had nearly 9 years of Ronnie and Roxy. I think now personally is the time to wave goodbye to the character of Roxy permanently. She's had literally no development at all. It's been great the past few months to see Ronnie bonding with other women on the square (i.e. Linda, Sharon, Honey). I think Ronnie's at her best when she's not obsessing over her 'sistaaa'. Roxy is a bit of a spare part and is dependent on Ronnie. The current storyline (i.e. her being a junkie) is a re-hash of the past. It's not new or refreshing. I think she should go to Ibiza and never come back.

Funnily enough I enjoyed Roxy when Ronnie was in a coma. She stepped up and looked after Matthew in those first few months. Controversially I liked her with Charlie as I think they suited more than Charlie with Ronnie. Ronnie is such a cold fish.

All we ever hear about her is 'Oh if they do this with her' Or 'A new producer will use her better' And 'She's due a big story' but at some point you need to accept a character needs to leave

I like Roxy. And i've noticed, as Sam Womack continues to not bother to act, I have seen Rita really improve over the years. She was great in the car crash episode, her attempted rape episodes and during the whole charlie affair.
The atrocious acting of Womack. Glynis and Scott Maslen also showed her to be the best as well. |

Jack will probably hear from Lauren and Cora that Max has been framed and this will lead to the downfall of the Beales and Max's release and Ian & Jane's arrests.
Cue a return for Keeble & Marsden in the autumn. |
