They were decent but not worthy of the golden buzzer tbh.

You could make your own golden buzzer with some papier mache and some gold paint

The girl group Alesha pressed for a couple of years back were the worst.

I Agree, They were just basically one of the normal dance acts that they have on this show and the only reason they got a golden buzzer was because they used fancy dress, Not that original at all.

I liked them, thought it was original and was glad Simon didn't put through yet another singer with a sob story.

They weren't even very coordinated for much of their act and that is kind of a prerequisite for an act like this...

All of David's have been worse than that

They were just a very, very average dance act with a badly-constructed medley of heard-them-all-before dance tracks.

The only thing which swung it for them was the stormtrooper thing - and they didn't even bother to give the act itself any kind of Star Wars theme.

Having said that, if they did exactly the same act as dancing skeletons I'd have probably loved 'em.

Well... exactly. Though in general David's Golden Buzzer acts have at least been distinct in some way. Simon's Golden Buzzer tonight was a generic dance troupe dressed as Stormtroopers.

Sums it up quite well actually. I'll bet now that at least one of them will be dressed as Darth Vader when they appear on the live shows.

They are Jennifer Ellison's dance school dancers and there are pictures of Jennifer Ellison with Simon Cowell on the internet so they obviously know each other.

If you want to know more about the background to the act you can read it here -

they were just another boring 'street' dance act who had dressed up

weve seen it now, the novelty is over.

I wanted to joke Cowell is friends with their grandmothers. Close enough

I liked them too.

Hope they got permission off George Lucas and Disney. Thought they were gimmicky.

Absolute rubbish.

They failed at the most basic level - they had no idea of coordination.

Not much skill either.

Basically cr*p

You really do believe in this "Grumpy" character

They weren't trying to be Diversity, they were trying to be amusing and quirky and in that, they succeeded on every level.

Quirky as in uncoordinated and poor choreography you mean?

Even David's golden buzzer act was better than them. Just fancy dressed mediocre dancers. Awful.

Amanda got bet pick this year!

Can't say I agree with you very often, but I certainly do on this one.

Odd choice for a golden buzzer thing, they were fairly average when you take everything into account. One thing I do wonder is if they can dance better without the stormtrooper costumes? Stormtrooper costumes can be very restrictive in places as well falling apart a lot.

Mediocre and boring. Wouldn't have got golden buzzer had they not been dressed as storm troopers.
