I liked it but not worthy of a place in the semi-final

Although I didn't like the group, that is the best use of the buzzer they've had to date. It gave an act a chance who probably wouldn't have got through, as most of the other golden buzzer acts would make it to the lives anyway. The golden buzzer is just a way of getting joke acts through to the semi finals and without appearing to take the spot of s more deserving act.

Absolutely agree with all of this, esp BIB. Out of all the golden buzzer acts this year they were the worst. Can't believe Simon actually pressed the buzzer for them!

They deserved to go through, though whether as a Golden Buzzer is debatable. There is plenty of scope to vary it with other characters in the next round (if they can afford the outfits!), but when you see how restrictive those costumes are, I think you can cut them a little slack as far as the precision of some of the moves.

They did get away with Gangnam Style because of the outfits though - if another act had done that it would've attracted much derision...

Is it a mixed male/female group? Just wondered if they may go down the Han / Leia route next time..

I can't believe they got the Golden Buzzer, what was so great about them I asked myself, not worthy of the buzzer at all!, if anything the robot dancers were much better, even the magician was good, also the mimic chaps were great. I felt taken for a mug!!!

Well, yes. That was a key part of the comedy.

I thought they were funny, but was surprised that Simon pressed the buzzer for them.

If I was to choose a worst buzzer this series, I would choose Alesha's one.

Ant and Dec's is my favorite.

I found them fairly entertaining but not outstanding. Their timing was poor in places.

Kinda agree, but they made me laugh out loud with their Darkside booty shake, and humour in dance goes alon way with me-Balance for example.

Also, it really isn't easy to throw shapes with most of your peripheral vision gone.

have you tried a back flip in a crash-helmet?

We’re in danger of missing the point here. The whole thing is fixed. As someone noted above, it’s Jennifer Ellison’s dance act. Simon was going to make sure the act got through, whatever happened. I would be very surprised if this trashy act doesn’t get to the live final, at least.

I was going to post exactly the same thing, it's Simons show and who wins........Simon decides not us.

This, the act was completely forgettable for me, it wasn't even the best of the show. The actual dancing was nothing new, the only difference was the costume. Normally I can understand why the golden buzzer is used but I don't get this one, it was just odd and out of the blue for what was essentially an average dance act.

Yep, I thought the robot dancers were much better as well!

Your first post and you come out with the usual boiler plate conspiracy angle

I'm surprised you didn't use the word "scripted" ..

There might have been some conditions in granting permission.

Sorry, but I know for a fact that it was forced through. The act got three No's on the original audition, then they were called back for it to be re-filmed with the Golden Buzzer. This is no theory.

That is what I thought also. The Golden Buzzers have been awful choices so far.
I like the magicians and illusionists but even they are already, successful acts out there in the world. BGT will just enhance their careers and take them to further places.

Don't waste your money and vote on these shows. It is all transparent these days, fixed winner and cleverly orchestrated to get them through. Throw a few wobbly acts in to make people pick up the phones for winning act. Quids in literally.
If wrestling is fixed and horse racing can be fixed, blooming these shows definitely fixed.

If anything, last year's general election was more "fixed" than shows like BGT will ever be.
I'm sure that if BGT was "fixed", ITV wouldn't even be allowed to air it.

The flaw in your sinister plan is the general public ..

Everyone was saying how the show was "rigged" for Susan Boyle to win and who won in the end ?

Those dancing robot thingy's were of worthy as a golden buzzer if you ask me. And of course, neither was David's choice.

My choice for the golden buzzer would have been the middle aged couple who did Contemporary dancing.
