The older one played Derrick in the BBC Three comedy 'Ideal'.
Derrick was the vegetable obsessed, unsufferable bore that used to go around to Moz's flat to buy some weed and hang around for ages.

Some of their impressions were terrible.

Yeah, some were good though, I thought they had Michael Mcintyre to a tee and there were a couple more that were pretty spot on- Their audition was more of a show reel but I'd hope if they get through they play up the ones they could actually do

Some of the impressions didn't sound like the people they were meant to be doing.

At least they didn't do a Dec impression like most of the impressionists who go on this show

They no doubt will at some point though.

This seems to be their BGT audition, but with Ant and Dec as the opening impression

Thanks for posting it.

I've seen Alfie Joey live several times as part of a gala, lovely guy. The impressions he does there are always spot on - I agree a couple weren't right on the show (Alan Sugar!) but overall the act was great

Alfie played the doctor in 'Hebburn' too.

Doesn't everyone who does him have him to a tee, a high pitched sore throated twit.
Thought they were average, but at least not annoying. Like most of the previous impressionists.

I thought they were OK, particularly the older guy. Pretty limited act, but fine for a couple of minutes on something like the Royal Variety Show.

But they should drop some of their impressions, particularly Lord Sugar, Stephen Fry, Rob Brydon and Gordon Ramsay, they were absolutely dreadful.

I thought the Rob Brydon was ok, but yes, the others you mentioned weren't very good at all, I wouldn't have known who they were just by the voice alone. Arnold Shwarzenneggar was bad too.

He's also been a presenter on BBC Radio Newcastle for years, and does the Breakfast show each weekday. I always thought BGT was supposed to be for amateurs, not people with an already fairly high profile (in the North East, at least), and arguably already a local 'celebrity'.

I've always said, if an impressionist needs to tell you who they are doing beforehand, then they must need to. Wasn't that impressed, to be honest, and don't see how their act can progress/improve much for the next round.

I thought the older one was very good and the younger one could only do Sonia off Eastenders and Michael McIntyre (which must have been good as it annoyed me as much as the real deal).

LOL @ the judges thinking that the singing impressionist and the solo bloke were better than them. Farce.

I Came on here especially to post a thread saying that its disapointing that they did not get through when a lot of the acts that did get through had little talent and were quite similar ( although that they need to put a show together and that usually means starting off with a fast energy Dance act ) That seems to be why we get so many dance acts.
