Still not as good as giffgaff on the face of it. But of course Asda uses EE's network, so they may have a better mast priority deal than GG.

For out of bundle with Asda mobile, it costs 8p per minute for domestic calls whereas out of bundle with GiffGaff it costs a ridiculous 15p per minute. Texts out of bundle are cheaper with Asda mobile vs GiffGaff as well. Also unless you require in excess of 6GB of data, AYCE data, or data only on PAYG, there’s not really much point sticking with three now. |

Three are not competitive with Asda mobile on data below 20.00 on the data, texts and minutes bundles now on PAYG.
There will be a number of people buy an All In One 20 add on from three on one of their PAYG sim who don’t require to use even as much 4GB of data per month, and now Asda have a suitable PAYG bundle at 15.00 per month which is the same price they used to be buying an All In One 15 add on with three. The thing is at three to get 4GB of data per month on PAYG, you need to buy an add on which has 12GB of data per month or AYCE data because they offer no tariff with amounts between 1GB per month and 12GB per month. A big failing of three which will see them losing many PAYG customers as well now, now that other mobile operators are raising their game by offering more data for money while three are reducing data allowances while hiking up their prices. |
