Very much like the Sun legendary.
If I had to choose a starter based off their non-evolved forms I'd be in for a struggle as I can't tell whether I prefer the awesome bowtie owl or the badass fire cat. So I'll have to hold out for their evolved forms before I can say who I'll be going with. |

Article on Digitalspy:
http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/pok...ion-legendary/ I'll probably pre-order Pokemon Sun first for the release on the 23rd of November. |

Regarding the starters the Pokemon website have put up some information about them:
Grass Starter Rowlet: http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-us/pokemon/rowlet/ Fire Starter Litten: http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-us/pokemon/litten/ Water Starter Popplio: http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-us/pokemon/popplio/ I guess Rowlet will stay Grass/Flying, I'm not sure about Popplio I'm hoping it will eventually be a Water/Fairy type and finally Litten I don't mind as long as it's doesn't end up being a Fire/Fighting type again |

I just hope there's more more ground types this Generation as there was only two in the Kalos Dex which were Diggersby and the legendary Zygarde.

So Europe has to wait an extra 5 days. Any explanations as to why?

So excited for this, love that it's based in Hawaii and character customisation is back.
I think I'll pick Popplio, but I like all 3. I hope their evolutions are good and don't turn out like Chespin or Tepig. |

I'm cautiously optimistic that they won't mess up Rowlet (I mean how could you mess that up?) But i'm extremely worried about Litten in particular this time around, it has massive potential to be amazing but it could also go completely the other way. |

I feel like because rowlet has "rowl" in its name, it's just going to get bigger and stay circular.

Yeah this is exactly what I'm worried about - The evos could completely butcher their designs. I remember when X and Y were first announced and we only had the basic starters without the evolve forms, I was torn between Fennekin and Chespin but was leaning towards Fennekin, but then by the time the actual game came out I picked Froakie because Fennekin evolved into some bizarre furry bait and Chespin... well I don't know what happened there really.

Somebody over on the Serebii Forums posted something which quite my attention and actually fits quite well...
We can all see that Rowlet has a bowtie made from a leaf. Litten will likely grow to become a tiger. Popplio is clearly a clown based sea lion. Now, what did the user said which made me think? That the starters follow a circus theme. Rowlet is the ringmaster with the bow tie. Litten will grow to become a performing tiger. Popplio is the clown. It's certainly an interesting theory and one that I could definitely see being correct just based on the first stage of each starter. |

I thought that rowlett would more likely be a trapeze artist especially being a flyer and the main character is the ringmaster. Top hat for me please.

New Pokemon and Sun and Moon video released:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW14HO7C1Dg - The Sun legendary is called Solgaleo and is a Psychic/Steel type, it's ability is called Full Metal Body and has a move called Sunsteel Strike. - The Moon legendary is called Lunala and is a Psychic/Ghost type, it's ability is called Shadow Shield and has a move called Moongeist Beam. - The Professor is called Professor Kukui and has a mysterious assistant called Lillie. - Your new friend is called Hau and there is a Rotom in your Pokedex. I like Solgaleo the best of the two legendaries but I do like Lunala as well but it's at a 4x disadvantage against both Dark and Ghost types.

I do enjoy how the fire lion looking legendary called "SOLgaleo" is in fact... weak to fire, that makes quite the twist

I was struggling to find many 7th gen pokemon I liked; now I know; the designs in this generation (though which have been released thus far) are my least favourite of all. My view may been worsened by the fact that the 6th gen contained not one bad design and my favourites since gen 2. But what we're seeing for Sun and Moon is just awful.
