Well of all the years since 2011, the series with Sharon, Nicole and Louis saw by far the smallest ratings decline (only around 2% I think). Last year's "young" panel saw a decline of around 13%.
So there is still some appreciation for them.

and do you honestly believe the judges have any say on what their acts sing?!

It will keep falling the ratings 4 million could be all they get, Cowell knows it's a dated turkey and has pretty admitted so bringing back Walsh and Osborne again

Probably my 4 favourite judges excluding Dannii and I saw her stints in Aus, so I'm over her now.

Perfect.

I guess you think the same about Sharron since she's had just as many comebacks?

All 4 of these judges have "experience" in the field. They have seen acts come and go throughout the years. They know the trends, what makes a star and what doesn't. 3 are managers, and one is a professional singer who has a truly fantastic voice. Both pop, opera and acting credentials. I think this is the perfect panel to find someone special.

I'd love it if this was the panel.

It would be a very entertaining panel.

if this really is the panel, and i expect it will be, its going to be the most inane, unimaginative, predictable pantomime of a series there has ever been

Probably not a popular decision on here but would rather have Tulisa back especially over Sharon

Would prefer Mel B to Sharon but otherwise this is a pretty perfect 'legends' panel.

I'd rather have a slowly rotting apple on the panel over Sharon.

How on earth do they think they will attract young viewers with that lot?

Yes I've just read that myself. The money must be good/needed, because I'm sure her performing (successfully if reports are anything to go by) in Broadway would do better for her career worldwide than a year on a mid-low rating talent show in the UK. Regardless, very unprofessional to drop her commitment to the show.

Andrew Lloyd Webber confirms Nicole's return:

Quote:
“ "A week before we were going to go into rehearsal with Cats on Broadway, which luckily I'm not producing, she calls me and says she's decided she wants to do X Factor, having agreed everything,"”

They couldn't have done anymore to attract younger viewers than last year's carnage, the price of that was that I and clearly many others stopped watching after the infamous judges houses episodes

I do love nicole but it's quite clear she would trailblaze over anyone and anything to get what she wants career wise

The way things are now , The x factor Panel will be Simon Sharon Louis and Nicole , that is the most likely outcome

Very true, I remember during her duet with Jahmene when her mic wasn't working she wrestled the mic from him before he had finished his line and for a split second gestured the broken mic towards him as if to say "here, take this!"
