Give it some "L" plates!

I actually bought that single at the time. No idea why now. I haven't listened to it since '99.

An ever better song was released the same week.

That Don't Impress Me Much by Shania Twain. Only got to #3 but was one of the biggest selling singles in 1999.

British pop music was so crap in the late 90s/early 00s.

Very catchy song. I've never been much of a fan of Geri's solo stuff or her singing but this song is great and still sounds fresh and fun. My goodness, 17 years already! Eek!

I love a bit of solo Geri. Mi Chico Latino was good too.

I can understand why Look at Me was chosen as her debut single, it's somewhat striking and in your face, but her next three singles were better and much stronger.

That was in the charts at the same time as That Don't Impress Me Much by Shania.

Great tune written and played by jazz guitarist Peter White nearly twenty years ago.

I'm not sure about this. I found the cheesier singles from such as S club 7 and backstreet boys severely lacking in quality but high in sentimental value and nostalgia factor.

What about Spinning Around by Kylie Minogue as a come back single? Gold hot pants as well.

I really liked Geri's first album. It was good pop.

Wasn't a fan of this but the follow ups were great.

Mi Chico Latino and Lift Me Up are tunes

I actually really love her cover of It's Raining Men so much more than The Weather Girls.

Btw Geri has recently been given an official spotify playlist.

Look at Me hasn't aged well though was good at the time. I think her best was It's Raining Men as she kept it fun and updated more disco europop.
