Ad Blocking On Android -HELP PLEASE!!!!
I am new to Smartphones.
I have a Samsung Galaxy 2 android smartphone (gift from a friend who has upgraded). I wish to install Adblock browser for Android , however Google Play have banned and blocked it. This website says you can still use it: http://getandroidstuff.com/5-best-ad...p-for-android/ , but I am always redirected to the 'no longer available' message on Google Play. The aforementioned website (before Google Play) says click on the above for instructions on how to still use Adblock plus, however the instructions ain't there. I have tried emailing myself the URL to my phone, however clicking on it doesn't work! Help please!! ![]() ![]() ![]() If you are one of those people who don't approve, I find some websites unuseable because of intrusive and/ or annoying adverts. |

I use Firefox browser on my android phone, which can be downloaded from the Google play store. Firefox allows you to install ad-ons, with adblockplus being one that is available to install. I find that it works pretty well.
Maybe this could be an option to consider if you can't install the adblock browser. |
