EE Sylvie
Do you think Sean O'Connor will kill her off? Sylvie has only appeared once in the past year.

I think he will but not any time soon as to me, it's quite close to Stan's death. I don't feel she adds anything to the Carters so killing her off won't make the same impact that it did with Stan. Leave her in the home for now.

Personally I think we need to see her on screen more. It's like they have forgotten the character exists.

Wish we saw more of her and less Babe and Elaine (yeah Elaine is only recurring but her 3 month stint was appalling).

I always thought she was a guest character anyway, and there was no intention to bring her back. Also don't see what she'd really bring to the show. Also isn't the actress Linda Marlowe from Australia - does she live there? That probably is a barrier. the only times I can think of Sylvie are around December 2014 and Stan's death month, and she returned for one episode for Mick and Linda's wedding on NYD. Next time I can ever see her returning for a guest role in an episode is either another Carter wedding (Lee/Whitney?), a death of a Carter or maybe Christmas

Second in the credits after Mick on the 14th, must be a scene between Mick and his Grandmother.

I really like the character and she's portrayed fantastically. So believable.

I am disgusted at how she has just been dropped with no proper end and her wedding appearance was pointless. She need to be seen more when Tina and Babe visit her. They might as well have never had her appear.
I think they should kill her off. Babe poisoning her would he an interesting storyline. |

I thought Slyvie might be your interim Cora replacement.
I guess not, she was only ever meant to be re-curring. I guess she will have more screentime soon for
Spoiler

I think a trick was missed by allocating the dementia storyline to Sylvie, given that we didn't know much about her (or have much of a connection with her). Cora would have been a much better fit given her history on the square and by developing the illness slowly there would have been a lot more opportunity for drama reaching into her relationship with the remaining Brannings and old friend Patrick. Just a thought
