I sent the MODS a request to close the other thread lovely.

I usually would have just left it to the MODS to close & start a new thread as they usually do it off their own back (unless we ask them first), but as Aaron changed his name today, I wanted that reflected in the title as I know we all did, plus I didn't want the MODS closing the other thread themselves & starting a new one with the Livesy name still in the title.

re-watched the scenes... it's bizarre how aaron is almost too excited about the letter when adam mentioned it UGHH

also why not sit next to robert?

the end is equally perplexing... gordon dies and they still don't know how so the dingle brother and sister conclude that it might be robert? eeekkk... why would robert wait til he's sentenced for 18 years?

and aaron concurring that he also has his doubts is not very loyal... he could have kept his suspicions to himself and talk it out with robert... like he has conversations with chas and adam ugghh

they better have a heart to heart tomorrow with apologies flying all over the place or i'd be pissed off ha ha

I'm not sure who is treating Robert like a precious flower. Is it someone on here again? Or???? So many indirects going around I can't keep up without getting dizzy .

i think here, even though we feel aaron might have been a bit ermmm hard on robert, we don't write hate on him coz he's still our puppy and this is a very traumatic and confusing day for him ha ha

Why would Robert even bother having Gordon bumped off (especially as he just got sentenced to 18 years) & it wasn't like Gordon was going anywhere anyway.

We may find out more about his cause of death in the next ep from DS Wise.

i think we can excuse aaron for having very bad thoughts and decision, it's been a very traumatic and confusing (not least emotionally) day for him...

and in fairness, aaron was also quick to conclude back in sept that it might be chas who shot robert and he does also love his mum lolz

It would be one way to completely absolve Robert.

I don't think anyone is treating Robert like a precious flower. I just don't want every argument to end with a murder accusation. Obviously Robert won't be able to do that when Aaron makes a mistake. And I don't really think there is much reason to think Robert killed Gordon. Gordon had just been sentenced to 18 years, Adam knew all about the letter and its contents

I think they killed Gordon off too quickly - it's normally weeks or months into a sentence before there is a prison suicide, not day one because barristers would still be talking about appeals etc, and also I am sure before announcing the death to the family they would have ascertained whether at least it was murder or suicide (or natural causes)

A big hello to the new thread.

I think they inform the family as soon as possible after the event because they wouldn't want them hearing from any other source. They wouldn't, however, speculate on the cause of death until it had been officially confirmed (presumably by the p.m) even if it seemed blatantly obvious what had happened - there was a knife sticking out of him, he was hanging in the cell. Also, I'm not sure DI Wise would actually know all the details, I don't think he'd be involved in the investigation at the prison and was obviously chosen to inform the family because of his connection with them and the unusual circumstances
