Yeah it is-I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with this money thing

I hope that some extra money can get Aaron some security and stability, (and not have to feel unequal with Robert in terms of who treats who to dinner).

will they address how robert feels? not in terms of the letter, but how he feels excluded from aaron's family and how he seems to never do anything right?

surely that little rant at the scrapyard wasnt dropped in for nothing...

hmmmm

Just reading up if Aaron refuses inheritance, it will all go to Liv. I would have Sandra would be involved with it somewhere.

I think she's supposed to try and get rid of him at the end of May. I'm actually looking forward to it because I think it will determine whether or nor I'll keep watching.

Robert is genuinely upset that he has denied Aaron the chance to go and speak to Gordon. He was really nice in the way he was saying to Aaron to go to the mortuary and his voice kind of broke a little and he looked really sad.He came across as a person who deeply cares for the other-I liked the subtle but strong way that Ryan played that scene

I think from the spoiler leak Aaron tries to go see Gordon at the Mortuary but ends up unable to say his piece & runs off. Maybe after his talk with Chas he has another go & gets what he needs to say off his chest to a dead Gordon?

Yes I liked that scene too. Of course I've never believed that Robert was doing anything other than protecting Aaron before the sentencing.

I think I said something like this the other day.

Yeah we knew Robert was genuine throughout all of this-I just loved the way Ryan played that scene. Not sure why really but it was so understated but yet it moved me

Perhaps he could arrange for Cain, a length of rope. a chair and an overnight stay in a deserted barn and a piece of 4" x 4"?

I was lucky enough to be able to f/f the "Liv" scenes - you don't need to hear her, the solitary facial expression tells you all you need to know.

I was interested last night that Robert seemed reluctant to accept, or go for, the hug and I was glad Aaron had the grace to apologize for thinking he "arranged" Gordon's death, but I still think it (the death) came too soon after sentencing. Also, he must have taken his will into prison for it's contents to be known so quickly....or perhaps Ms. Oates just wanted to do it all before she left?. If he did take the will into prison, I wonder why he wasn't on suicide watch as it would indicate his mind was disturbed?

I thought the best scenes last night was Ashley, as the conflicted vicar. What a daft decision to get rid of John Middleton, but it does annoy me they couldn't be bothered to find a black and white "Tootsie" and a dog the same size as she was. This one is bigger. But a fitting send-off to such a legendary character.

Finally, why is Chas calling DS Wise by his first name?

She is a monstrous little brat, worse than Gabby and Belle was. A demonic little trouble-maker. Why don't Aaron or Chas warn her that any more of her outbursts will result in her being sent back to her mum? IRL who would put up with it, especially volatile individuals like Aaron and Chas

Given the transmission time of 7.00 you are unlikely to see that.

I'm not sure about the will thing but the thing that didn't make sense to me was that DS Wise said that Gordon was in isolation and that there had been someone outside all the time but he still managed to hang himself????? What was the prison officer doing then?

Am still not sure either how if Aaron had read the letter it would have helped - Pete hadn't been out that long (?a week or so) and surely you can't just get visiting orders at the drop of a hat (when you've been convicted at least). And that's not even thinking about the fact that, as his victim, Aaron visiting Gordon would, I'm sure, have to be specially arranged.

Also, agree about the suicide being far too early and interestingly, according to something I read, they were originally planning to have Gordon deteriorating more slowly (not sure if they meant physically, mentally or both) and Aaron seeing that but then went for this instead.

Not sure about Jason - maybe because saying DS Wise would have been a bit jarring and also to show that they are on first name terms now (perhaps as a pre-cursor for something else)
