Cat name suggestions
Help!
We are getting a kitten on Sunday, and we can't agree on a name! He's a pale ginger colour and very cute. My daughter wants to call it Nugget and my son likes Cloud. I've suggested Sandy and my husband has no preference. Anybody out there with some more ideas; hopefully one we can all agree on.

Georgie (the ginger cat).
Gorgeous George. Graham. Nope, I've no idea why I've got the letter G in my head, except that he's ginger. Good luck with your new kitten! Years of fun ahead.

We called our ginger moggie "Crispin" because as a foundling kitten only a month or so old, he was a 'Golden Wonder'

I agree with your daughter. I think Nugget is a great name for ginger kitten.

I'm told cats' hearing is best at high frequencies, so any name containing a sibilant will attract their attention. Go with "Sandy".

![]() My friend's children named their cat Cheese (to her embarrasment) and Cheese is still here 12 years later. My next cat wil be called Mr Blue Sky because I love the song, it makes me happy. Blue will suit he/she because cats don't know what colour they are
