Looks to me as though the DLC chapter will be Sam after he gets seperated from Drake, Elena & Sully and makes his way to Avery's ship.
Hope not, but Nate wonders how he made it to the ship and we don't see how the ship explodes. I'd rather it not be since I'm not interested in playing as Sam or seeing that stuff. But hey, I think Sam is meant to be a lot more well liked than I do. |

I was thinking about the ending and although I liked it, I think it would have been more dramatic and shocking if Nate died saving his Brother Sam. I mean if this really is the last game then it would have been a more emotional impact ending and something you'd think about a long time after you've completed the game.

I was watching a discussion between the Kinda Funny guys about the ending to Uncharted and they brought up a good point which is basically that Uncharted has always been a sort of upbeat type of game and had Nate died it wouldn't have really have *felt* like Uncharted.
Uncharted has never been "that" kind of series. It's always had that air of light-hearted, over the top dramatics to it, and a sombre ending swathed in tragedy just wouldn't have been a fitting conclusion at all imo. |

That is a good point and don't get me wrong, I liked the happy ending and it fitted with uncharted, but it really would have felt like a 'Thief's End'. Either way would have been good imo.

Surely the "thief's end" referred to Avery.

Could be, but I always thought it's because it was Nate's last job.
While at the same time been Nate's last job and maybe throwing a red herring at us about his death. |

As I got on through the story I was sure the title was about Avery and how he was branded a thief for stealing everyone's gold and then his demise.
While at the same time been Nate's last job and maybe throwing a red herring at us about his death. |

It was obviously also partly about him finding the family he'd never had considering how young he was when his mum died. The way they gave his character closure was perfect imo. |

I would've hated for Nate to sacrifice himself for Sam, who has proven not to care much for Nate's life or his relationships. |

I'd say the DLC will be filling in the blanks in terms of what Sam did during the parts of the game when we didn't see him EG. When he went to one of the different towers, when he gets captured by Raith, when he splits from the group to go after the treasure. Seems to be the logical route as ND won't need to expensively design brand new maps for it.

Ok I just finished it, the credits are rolling. The feels!!! I absolutely loved every minute of it, I didn't think it dragged at all, I just soaked it all up. I didn't think I could love Elena any more, but she's just awesome on so many levels. Such a fitting end to a great series, I loved that last shot of the photo's in the journal, got me all emotional it did. I'm kind of sad it's over now, and oddly tempted to reply all 4, even though I just played the HD collection a few weeks ago.
I think I would love an Elena spin off above all things, her life as an investigative journalist or something, just more Elena! Put her in a 90's point and click adventure I don't care. It took 19 hours in total, and I only got 41 collectables, I think I spent too much time looking at the scenery and taking pictures. |

I was never the biggest Elena fan personally, but she really came into her own here. She became quite a bit more awesomer for me than in previous adventures.
I've always been a Sully kind of guy personally

Yeah, Elena was awesome, even more so because she wasn't in your face, just badass when you needed her to be.
And she's hot. You did well Nate, you did well. |

Done. Loved it ![]() The only bit that *really* frustrated me was in Chapter 20, when you're running away from the second armoured truck. The boss fight in Chapter 22 irritated me a bit, but was no way anywhere near as annoying as the one for Uncharted 2. Loved the epilogue with Cassie. Quote:
One of the directors over at Naughty Dog said that even though they aren't included in the Uncharted 4 base game, Chloe and Cutter's stories aren't over. So that leads me to believe we'll get a short story based on them as the DLC.

The boss fight done my head in as I have MS and don't have the fast reactions for QTE events
![]() Sam/Sully's adventure going on his business deal may make for some good DLC |

I would also like to see Nate and Elena go diving to reclaim the stash. I assume they got it as they have a house on the beach, but it's not conclusive. Maybe their business is doing well.

Finished it last night.
Still think that after the initial wonderment about the graphics, level design, character movement/interaction etc the later levels don't seem quite as impressive...an awful lot of walking and exploring, interrupted by frantic, though increasingly difficult firefights. If the low-key denoument and prologue seems a bit disappointing for some, I don't really have an issue with it...some of the best movies ever made have the worst endings...it never ruins the movie for me. It succeeds on so many levels that the occasional gripes are not enough to detract. Probably a game I will go back to and play again...and that's the true test of a good game for me. |

![]() Sam/Sully's adventure going on his business deal may make for some good DLC http://kotaku.com/how-one-disabled-p...-mo-1777633667 It's really considerate of them to add the features when they didn't have to, I saw people on Gaf mentioning the option to just hold triangle, because they either didn't like or were bad at QTE's. I only realised why the option is there when I read the article. |
