I thought the cinematic after ch 11, where Nate walks into the hotel room to find Elena, was brilliant. The emotion portrayed on her face was just amazing, it was so well done.

They really nailed it with the characters.

Finally got around to finishing it.

Did have a minor panic attack though. While walking on the beach as Cassie not being able her parents, I thought the music did have a "The Last Of Us" vibe.

I honestly thought there was going to be some horrible crossover ending with Nate and Elena falling prey to the infected. 😨

Not sure about the daughter taking over the franchise, wouldn't that be a bit too much like Tomb Raider which this series has already lifted quite a deal from.

Another thing, all those famous pirates who died around the table, we actually know how they died in real life and it wasn't there, same with Avery and Tew so they stretched credibility a bit there.

I don't think it was meant to be a history lesson.

They retold a different story using famous pirates to suit their game and it worked.

Yeah that was my thought too. I saw an article about Avery in real life and it was a good read,

Sure even all films based on true events change things up to make the story flow better.

I know, they changed history in the other games as well but not involving so many historical figures.

Don't think they got the difficulty level right on this one either, hard was too hard and normal too easy.

Difficulty level is always going to be a bit subjective. I found hard didn't give me too many problems. I thought this was the easiest Uncharted game actually.

how did people do on the crash bandicoot bit? i went thought the second playthrough without dying and finished 18 points off. annoyed with that. do you have to get ALL fruits or something on that?

anyway the end just before rafe was epic. kinda disappointed with the last fight when you go through all of that. also was disappointed i didn't get to kill nadine

I got about 200 points over the high score tonight. The key was putting the game in slow motion (which also helped a lot when fighting Rafe on crushing difficulty!). I only missed one of the fruits.

In played the first 3 on difficult and they were easier I thought.

With this one a couple of shots and you'd be dead so I was doing all my shooting blind which I didn't have to do in the other ones, will have another go on hard though.

Why would you want to kill Nadine? I kind of like that the game resisted the cliche of having the second big boss battle and that the character showed some depth by realising that those obsessed with treasure brings people to ruin.

She kicks his ass all game so he should have killed her.

It's one of the modifiers you can turn on in 'settings' after you've completed the game.
