She was really emphasising the "let the love light curry" here.

I thought this one might have finished a little higher than it did, some sustained crotch-grabbing going on here - in the end the horrific song seemed the most normal thing about the whole thing.

Remarkable in this one that not only do they carry on while a nutter's invading the stage, but they don't even appear to look at him.

Now it's time for our guest entry, and live from Azerjuban, it's the woman who was originally based on Lisa I'Anson (true story). We couldn't have this contest without Lynda, so when no-one selected her it was only right that she appeared as a sort of secret interval act.

In fifth place it's Sir Rigas Bebrs himself - although he's suspiciously mute in this clip, almost as if the real Riga Beaver wasn't available that week. The MNTHA impersonation is still superb though - a giant Latvian beaver wearing a blue wig and swaying along to dreampop really is what Eurovision is all about.

In fourth it's this oddity from Estonia, and god knows what ideas they rejected for Eesti Laul that year, if this is what they actually came up with. For some reason I always liked this one too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDtE0MH9bQ8

In third place, it's me! Thanks for the votes for this, I thought I'd wait until everyone else had selected their entries before seeing what was left, and I was surprised no-one chose this. I do wonder how Andreas would have done in Vienna - certainly better than Ann Sophie, that's for sure.

I never tire of this video! Only in second place it's Silvia Night, and she will not be happy... everyone who did not vote for her, ungrateful b*****ds, she will sue you, and you will all go to jail.

The reason that Silvia didn't win, as she will no doubt point out herself, is that she's not some f****** old b**** from Ireland. Yes your runaway winner is Linda Martin and that time she decided to call Billy McGuinness an odious little man and a gobshite on live TV. A deserved winner, congratulations to sbrum1984!

I just knew you were Silvia, Lisa. My original choice, I'm always too slow.

Congrats to Brum, definitely one of the best ESC moments, not just the weirdest.

Two completely iconic and unforgettable moments! I was actually going to play it safer with something else entirely not on this list, but changed my mind because it had to be done and it was made for this round. Thanks for all those votes, especially the 12 club.

Congrats Brummy, Dame Linda going postal never gets old. Fab hosting avb, the whole playlist had me in hysterics.
