This would've been my second choice if I hadn't been hosting. A glorious (I presume drunk) hot mess with some fabulous moves... kind of like DS in London.

I don't mind admitting I had no clue what was going on in that Dutch entry, parts of it were damn catchy though!

The winner of the tie...

The dulcet tones of the Jew's Harp picked up a few fans over the weekend, to rescue it from last. I imagine the EBU would've been all over this if it had've been translated to English, given its subtle references to another oral activity...

This is more disco than anything on X Factor's attempt at disco week! Do the band think they're cool in their Roy Orbison sunglasses tribute?

Can't help wondering if we would have still won Eurovision that year if we'd sent this instead of The Voice.

Thank you 6 voters

There's not enough of this silliness now that Eurovision has gone all 'worthy' and serious. Sometimes you need an oompah band for variety to liven things up.

I don't even feel guilty about loving this. Vocally it's a complete mess, but that just adds to its charm and it takes on a whole new meaning if you imagine it as Putin's love song to Donald Trump. Thanks to the great 8 for the votes. Also my favourite thing is one of the top comments on the video: "Better than Waterloo."

The love swing definitely makes this. Losing that in the final definitely cost him I reckon. I have no idea why the backing singers are dressed as French maids.

3-way tie coming up. Loser of the tie...

Showing a lot of chest and I'm not just talking about her dancers! It's actually not that bad of a song, but lord that staging and the vocals! Yet it was also very close to being their actual entry.

Winner of the tie...

Big surge up the leaderboard over the weekend. This is like when you and your mates as kids decided that yes you could be the next Spice Girls tribute, but done in public on national tv and with way more plaid. Have they raided my wardrobe?
