1. Kelly Clarkson – Piece by Piece - Surprisingly, I enjoyed this. A good start to the playlist
2. Loic Nottet – Million Eyes - Seen this mentioned on Twitter recently, not bad either. 3. Morat - Yo Más Te Adoro - Again, not bad, very pleasant. 4. Sam Hunt - House Party - Tried to like this, but not really for me. 5. Ruth Lorenzo – Voces – Meh 6. Fuel Fandango - Salvaje - Decent enough. 7. Carlos Vives, Shakira - La Bicicleta - Not for me. 8. Michelle Treacy – Armageddon - Really enjoyed this. 9. Turkiss - Cagir Meni - Now this is a tune, really enjoyed this too. 10. Eddi Reader -Town Without Pity - See Ruth... 11. The Travelling Wilburys – Handle with Care - Not for me either. 12. Sigma feat. Birdy – Find Me - Anything by Birdy is quite decent really. 13. All Saints - One Strike - No thanks. 14. Julie Bergan - Arigato - Actually had this on my to enter list. Love this. 15. The 1975 - The Sound - Decent enough. 16. Noyes – In My Mind - Again, another good one. 17. Creedence Clearwater Revival – Fortunate Son - No thanks. 18. Pentatonix - Hallelujah - Stick to the original. 19. Giorgia ft Alicia Keys - I Will Pray (Preghero) - Not a big fan of Giorgia, but actually enjoyed this. 20. Ira Losco – Haunted by Love - Disappointing. 21. JoJo - Say Love - Pleasant enough. 22. Frank Wilson - Do I Love You (Indeed I Do) - Not a great end to the playlist |

Phills review
![]() Kelly Clarkson This is really emotional, had this on my list Loic Nottet His voice is transforming into Mel C's, its decent Morat Its ok. Sam Hunt Comes across a bit too arrogant Ruth Lorenzo Ruthie <3 Just love her voice Fuel Fandango This was a recent winner on the other thread, its really good Carlos Vives, Shakira I'm a sucker for these duets Michelle Treacy This was good. Turkiss The 90's have just arrived in Baku, This is decent Eddi Reader Oh its the lady from Fairground Attraction, this was ok The Travelling Wilburys 5 ageing legends try and rekindle there careers, This is the kind of thing you hear old people sing in karaoke bars. Sigma feat, Birdy Quite like this All Saints Was this not in a contest not so long ago? Julie Bergan This has grown on me since I first heard it. The 1975 They remind me of another band, I wanna say Walk The Moon. Noyes I liked this Creedence Clearwater Revival This was alright Pentatonix They where quick, not the best version like. Giorgia ft Alicia Keys This is all kinds of amazing Ira Losco Love Ira, I would be happy for her to do ESC for Malta every year, cept maybe for some Chiara years JoJo Jojo's all grown up and with a really good song too. Frank Wilson This is OK |

Here's a preview of the 3 songs Brequette has submitted for the Spanish NF.
I think No Enemy can be salvaged from that lot. All sounds very generic & dull. |

![]() Not sure about Brequette. I get the feeling Spain could send something astonishing and still do badly, every good song they've sent recently has been either criminally under-rated or sabotaged by some other means. RTVE don't have the passion to do it right and back it with a first rate PR campaign. One gets the feeling the commercial sector wouldn't have destroyed 'Say Yay!' with that staging (although who knows just how influential Barei herself was in the decision-making process), but I just don't see things changing. I'm not overly optimistic for Germany either (some of that has to do with Stefan Raab) and I rather liked Ann Sophie. Italy was probably a blip this year with a good song that just didn't quite come together on the stage and San Remo is usually very competitive to I would expect a good song to come out of it anyway. France - please, please, let 'J'ai cherché' not have been a fluke! I cannot bare the Big 5 being butt-monkeys anymore! I am not going to even mention the UK here because we're wasting our time and money, destroying somebody's career out of hubris and it just gets me very cross!

To be honest I highly doubt Joe & Jake had much of a career ahead of them. In fact they are probably going down in the books as the most well known, most successful and most famous act to ever come of The Voice.
![]() I don't think I could even name a single winner of The Voice if you put a gun to my face. Oh wait. No, silly me, that's just my 'Acts who should've won' list. The actual winners have been wiped from my memory, thank god.

All rehearsals and reviews from today. We are not allowed to film a lot of the backdrop so videos look a bit funny... |

Then there's the has-beens looking for one last taste of glory - Rocks and Honey anyone? Compare that with what the likes of Australia, Russia, Sweden, etc do sending established names or artists just making their breakthrough and is it any wonder we're in the state we're in?

So San Marino have come up with a way to have a sort of Televote, a selection of Sammarinese people will have a special online vote during the live shows, queue the special brown envelopes from Azerbaijan

http://www.esc-plus.com/san-marino-s...re-eurovision/ SM's method seems fair, as long as the selection of Sammarinese citizens is a decent amount... |

I know it's totally OT, but some news that may come to fruition soon and could have us searching for a new place to congregate...
Hopefully this doesn't come to pass in the way most posters in the thread concerning the tweet seem to think it will, but we may be living on borrowed time here now. ![]() https://twitter.com/marksweney/statu...30735857156096 http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2189449 On topic..... Baquette isn't going to give up until the Spanish let her go to Eurovision is she? Look forward to the Finnish songs. A nice early Chrimbo pressie. The Albanian's are slacking in comparison.

It doesn't necessarily mean what we think it means, maybe just merging some sub-forums back together or trimming some staff? Clearing out all those junk count to a million type game sub-sections would save a bit! The forums aren't as busy as they used to be, but the BB forum is still the busiest section when that's on.

Had a few entries in so far for the next contest, some interesting choices, keep them coming.

Oh man I'd be gutted if they closed these forums. While they're not what they used to be (apart from here of course!) but they're still always worth a look. The main news site is just terrible though. Hopefully it's just that that's going, I assume that where most of the staffing is.

Hopefully it just means downsizing the news side? The news site died a death when we moved from the old blue theme. I guess the writing was on the wall when they removed comments from news articles, which was probably quite a decent indication of how popular the site is.
Although I have noticed the areas of the forum I post in most have been significantly less popular over the last year or so than what they previously were. If they do close the forums, I hope that they give us time to find an alternative so we can still post together *gets all sentimental ).

The news side died a death when they started having all the click bait articles like "8 times Digital Spy annoyed its readers" and stopped with actual news

![]() ![]() Yeah I don't bother with the main site any more when there's already Buzzfeed that does it better. |

Saara will sing My Heart Will Go On.
Not the best song but will be able to show off her voice with no gimmicks |
