Another vote for Circle of Light for Finland from me, seems head and shoulders above the rest at this stage.

Just listened to all the Finnish songs. Or, to put it correctly, listened to most of them for one minute before switching to the next one. Lyrically, most of these are very, very poor.
The two that standout for me are blackbird and the bloke Lauri. The fact that he sings in Finnish really makes it standout for me. I know circle of light seems to be the eurovision fans top choice, but it's very generic and dull to my ears. I hope Finland throw us a curveball and send Lauri. |

I really hope it's not..
Bye Bye Blackbird because Blackbird Don't Sing is actually a very pretty song and beautifully sung.. In the clip it is understated, melancholic and melodious.. but, I expect the finnish'ed version will become be very euro-visionary for the fans I'm also looking forward to the blackbird, making a surprise flying visit if Norma wins. |

Oh, hai Rosetta!
![]() I hope you've forgiven us for that whole 'greasy long hair' fiasco we had earlier in the year. Well, it wasn't only that but some of your (and yes, the other Fox's) other comments that actually made me feel I'm not going to come back here... I'm all for friendly banter, but that was something else!Quote:
It wouldn't be the same without your wisdom, Rosetta!
![]() Quote:
To save Rosetta the embarrassment of translating, Perse means Ass in Finnish... make of that what you will.
![]() Right now the Finnish media and consequently the bookmakers are drooling over Gunther & D'Sanz, touting them as winners, really hope they're wrong

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also, can I just say: http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Tick-Tock_the_Crocodile Quote:
"Tick-Tock was born several years before the events of Peter Pan, hatching on the shores of Neverland. He was adopted by a fairy named Rosetta, an early ally of Peter Pan's pixie companion Tinker Bell, whom he mistook for his mother."
This could not be more perfect. Quote:
How can I forgive something that hasn't even been apologized for?
Well, it wasn't only that but some of your (and yes, the other Fox's) other comments that actually made me feel I'm not going to come back here... I'm all for friendly banter, but that was something else!Oh thanks, is that an apology then? ![]() Thanks, and hi ![]() Right now the Finnish media and consequently the bookmakers are drooling over Gunther & D'Sanz, touting them as winners, really hope they're wrong ![]() |

Of course I apologise if I upset you! It was just 'friendly banter' that probably went an incy wincy bit too far... I really see the appeal of Gunther's song. It's so odd and creepy but the chorus is killer. Definitely my favourite of the 'novelty' entries.
![]() I mean the apology bit, not the Gunther bit.

I second that.
![]() I mean the apology bit, not the Gunther bit. ![]() ![]() (The worst bit was your jibe about my "low standards in men", just because I stood up for Michal and didn't join in your bashing of him... That was an actual insult, and couldn't be further from the truth. But hope we can leave all that behind now.) Must say this is uncannily early for me to emerge from my "Eurovision hibernation" though (or seen from another angle, for entering the Eurovision bubble)... This madness doesn't usually start until January - not sure I can take it for all of 6 months

Just had a chance to listen to the Finnish songs. Blackbird is the standout for me but I don't really see them making a dent on the scoreboard whatever they pick tbh
They probably hate us now for stealing Saara from them!

Welcome back rosetta!
You're right, let's leave it all behind now ![]() I'm gonna draw a line under it all and we can all start again for 2017 which I hope is gonna be a great one! --------------------- <-- that's the line by the way Latvia had better be good cos I'm going to Riga! Eurovision had better be good cos I'm going to Kiev! *gulps* |

Great to see you back Rosetta.
![]() Perhaps you can tell us how Saara Aalto's involvement with the British X-Factor is seen in Finland. We are all rooting for her on this forum, and she is obviously the best of the acts by some distance. |

Hi, sorry if this is pretty random, but I just want to say that I love Blackbird, Circle of Light, Paradise and Perfect Villain.
Sorry

Seen a few people on the ZOSHAL MEEJA posting their #ESC250 votes. What would be your Top 10 OF ALL TIME

Can we all join forces and finally topple Loreen's persistent reign? Either troll it with something like Silvia Night or put our 12s on something that could genuinely dethrone her like ILWAC?
