Reminder. Quote:
I’ve just noticed we don’t have a comp for next week. So without further ado…
Eurovision Song Contest - Best Group Ever! Welcome one and all to the competition to decide which is the best group ever in Eurovision. Too easy, I hear you cry, we all know which is the best group ever. Its ABBA! But is it? So let me have your submissions. The rules are: - The group must have at least three members - it must be an obvious group, not a singer plus some backing singers/prancers - The video must be the Eurovision performance - You can pick previous winners, except that … - You cannot pick ABBA. ABBA will appear on the playlist as an independent entry, and all FMs can vote for them. As ABBA won’t be voting for your entry in the competition (we can but dream, (or even “I had a dream”)) their total vote will suffer a small penalty. Send your entry and a Utube link to me in a PM by 6pm Sunday 27 Nov.

I really dont want her to win. Not because she isn't the best. It is because she will be/already is in the syco trap and I actually would like her to sing for UK but the BBC v SYCO fest means she will never do it. Shame really that Simon is such a dictator like that.
NO the answer is not "Put Eurovision on ITV" as yeah Honey G anyone?

I'm just amazed at the positive vts she had, watching with both my parents (first time since the first week sing off) both named Saara as the best, of course they never vote...so come on everybody! Vote for Saara!

^ Interesting contest, only most of the best songs from the last years are sadly missing from that shortlist ![]() Quote:
It's a joke........
![]() Checked out on youtube Saara's clips from last night, she was good, only didn't like her styling in WTIA, why had they styled her like an auntie...

It'll probably come to nothing, but do we have any idea who would take over if Ukraine do lose the hosting gig? In the old days it was always the BBC that stepped in when someone else couldn't host but I doubt they'd want to do that now.

I guess we can go back to Baku ![]() Germany might be able to do it, but it's gonna be hard in less than 6 months |

Norma John's Blackbird is my first obsession of the year. I can already see the staging in Kyiv/ Insert Any German City Here.
I think the fact I'm absolutely desperate to go to Finland helps. It's just a gorgeous song. Please Finland, do the right thing! |

Elsewhere, in TV talent show land, it was Mans Zelmerlow week on Idol Sverige on Friday (but the only MelFest/Eurovision song used was Hope & Glory) and someone sang Mary Hopkin on the Voice USA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ULeTnvCyhs

Good grief that is awful ![]() ![]() Also, why does there always seem to be a season of 'The Voice' airing in America? I've only just got over the fact the last winner was Curly Sue! |

But I could live with either ![]() Here's wiwibloggs' reactions to the songs, btw, in case anyone's interested ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7gsbSJ-gIk Quote:

She's been eliminated, and deservedly so!
![]() Also, why does there always seem to be a season of 'The Voice' airing in America? I've only just got over the fact the last winner was Curly Sue! It's NBC's biggest show so they have a season in the spring tv cycle and another in the fall.
