What was stopping me from entering was that I was not in here (when the entries were due) If I was I'd definitely have entered, and the moment I got back I did enter, in the "best band" one...

Talking of that, OMG, I don't think I've ever come across a playlist like that!! Practically every song is a favourite... (Well, apart from Cosmos, the oldie Swiss song, Serebro and a few others ) Now in Eres Tu, what a classic!!
And we didn't even get your second and third choice in the list!

Yeah, sadly not! (Or 4th or 5th...) But I still love so many of these... Must be the greatest playlist ever (for me)!

Votes to me please by 5pm Sunday December 4.
Which happens to be my birthday

Don't see what's so wrong about being 70

What do you mean "especially from you"?

Because I had thought you're one of the nicest persons here...

Nothing wrong with being 70, but I'm nowhere near that, so why would you say something like that...? That's not even funny... So you just want to be nasty, I guess. Best way to make me reconsider re-joining this community. I get the hint...

ESC Best Group Ever

Welcome one and all to the competition to decide which is the best group ever in Eurovision.

We are mercifully devoid of boybands, but one approached me the other day, begging to be in the show, perhaps the opening number, even for appearance fee of a paltry £100. So I took their money, and here they are:

Here is the actual list, a fine selection of recent and older Eurovision songs. The order is entirely random, except for ABBA in the pimp slot, of course. Enjoy.

No one actually entered Las Ketchup, I'm so sad I would have voted for them.

Shout out to one of my all time Eurovision guilty pleasures, can you believe this came third last with only Estonia saving it from joining Jemini on nul points?

I'm flattered! Thank you!

Well it was just a random guess, your moaning just reminded me of my grandmother (she is approaching 90 so I was nice really ) She can never be wrong either.

Don't take it so seriously!

I'm mourning no D'Nash

I had a great ESC radio dance to them in the shower the other day Cubicle was a little restricting though

I'm glad my original choice still made it after I had an epiphany the next morning and changed my mind.

If Weedy was as sensitive about me making jokes about his age he would have tracked me down and strangled me to death by now.

Take it all with a pinch of salt rosetta, making jokes with each other is just a sign that we consider you one of us.

We all know about Weedy's love of a good Maltese thigh.

Weedy deserves a "Maltese chunky thighs" dictionary entry and credit roll

Didn't you have a dream that I was a sniper and I assassinated you Foxy? You must have been feeling guilty that day...

I just happened to notice a pattern regarding the female Maltese NF entrants last year, and was foolish enough to mention it.
Can't wait for the Maltese selection process and NF this year, it can't be that far away...

You're very observant..

Have you noticed a pattern (male or female) with regard to participants from other EU countries?

Oh gosh yes! Funny how you remember my own dream, I definitely had a new respect for you when I woke up that morning.

Only a Maltese final this year, less scientific research to apply to the theory.

Well, only to the extent that almost all female Ukrainian Eurovision singers are stunningly pretty.

Forgive me, I don't follow X-Factor but...could Saara actually win the whole thing? And do we actually want her to, from a Eurovision perspective - could she yet go to Kiev for us?

She won't win, but I reckon that she'll make it to the final. She won't be able to do Eurovision because X Factor participants aren't allowed to release any material until after the winner's album has been released (this is in their contracts). Even if she did win, it's ITV so there is no way she'd be able to do it
