Hope Saara sings Euphoria on saturday. Tbf though unless someone does amazing on their new songs all people will remember is their duets and their reprise songs, with those Saara will be sailing though. Whether she will win is another story

Lenna and Elina aside, that first batch of the Eesti Laul songs is all a bit meh. Pray to the banger gods that Kerli is coming with a Diamond Hard part 2 to save this NF.

Kyra definitely has my fave in A Dal so far, I'm a sucker for that kind of progression (plus it helps that she looks nuts
)Think Spoon could do well with their partying in Budapest song, too, though the last time they participated they couldn't sing a single note between them so let's hope they've actually practiced this time. Bless whoever put the playlist up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIDx...N0uv7q&index=1 |

This is crazy! Have we ever had so many songs and acts confirmed prior to Christmas before? I can't keep up.
![]() ![]() Lenna sounds like she's singing Slingshat. I can't hear anything else. Not a bad effort, but doesn't scream winner. Will check the rest of Estee Lauder out tomorrow. Slightly surprised at Caramel joining the judging panel for A Dal. He competed in 2012 and I've been expecting him back as a performer ever since. Lisa will love his penchant for the rockier entries. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr7CouzmrSY Great to see Gigi Radics back. She'll struggle to equal "Ugy faj" though. I was hoping after last year's turn Kallay Saunders might enter with a song called "Cry Baby". 17 won't be going to Kyiv, or wherever the contest may be held.

Elina's the clear standout from Eesti Laul semi 1 in terms of a winner. It'll be interesting to hear what Kerli, Daniel Levi and Liis Lemsalu come up with next week (and Laura/Koit but I think that's going to be a trainwreck).

Snippets of damn near all of the A Dal entries available.....
http://www.mediaklikk.hu/a-dal-versenyzok/ Most are described as demos, so there'll be plenty of tinkering before the shows no doubt... Totova is Gabi Toth's new stage name seemingly. Pal Benjamin, Gigi (yay!), Spoon 21, Soulwave, Szabo Adam and Totova were the ones that made my ears prick up, but there's plenty of interest in there. Look forward to hearing them in full and final form.

What do you mean "thankfully"?
(whatever helps her chances I guess)As for A Dal, in addition to the aforementioned KYRA and Spoon, I'm into the clips from Totova, Gigi, Ádám, Eniko, Mrs Columbo and Roma Soul. |

I don't know if the quality is as high in Estonia this year. If Elina won, I don't think it would do fantastically well.

Elina would be a solid finalist I think with that.Interesting that the EBU felt they needed to release a statement confirming Eurovision is staying in Kiev, Jon Olalala talks about having a plan B venue every year, but that it wasn't Russia. Presumably Germany I guess. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kS0fzDc_djI |
