Ooh! The changes.
I don't know what to think I just hope that the forums don't look overly messy with GIFs and embedded videos. Especially in this thread around NF seasons when we'll all be posting YouTube videos to performances, etc. Has the potential to become really messy.

Just seen the forum future announcement.
Happy to hear it's staying (for now ).Not sure about the like/dislike thing, will have to see it in action, but the notifications will be a pain in the arse definitely. If they are moving everything across to the new place, I wonder if that will include the lost-in-the-mists-of-time mythical Part 3 of the DS Eurovision General Discussion Thread......I'd love to have a gander through that one again at some point. I think it was the longest of the various Parts we have had over the years...make it happen mods. Please. ![]() Malta - no real surprises in that list. Nice to see Claudia Faniello back though. Really liked her 2013 effort. Surprised at the Moldovan news. Thought they had said it would be an internal selection this year. I wonder if Sasha Bognibov is busy scribbling his latest "masterpiece" in readiness. |

Last year ended in failure when I was hosting NFs two months after they actually happened so naturally nobody was interested by that time. So this year I will be opening each NF as close to the actual NF date and if people want they can also send in their votes as soon as the NF has finished. Hopefully that will see numbers improve and allow us to complete the contest this time.

The embedding of vids will be interesting for NF season and our contests but I am looking forward to it. More people may be willing to vote if the video is readily visible.

So Amsterdam one weekend and then Madrid the weekend after right? I'm on Uni break then, so may have to think about going to one of them.

Also came across this today:
http://escinsight.com/2016/05/13/can...computer-game/ Fun little game to see if you can win Eurovision, I got top five with Latvia and won with San Marino before getting a Lithuanian boyband and quitting. Fun thing to pass the time.

I think I'm in love with that Georgian mess that sounds like Amambanda on fast forward x 30.
![]() https://soundcloud.com/user-679081112/3nd37lyl8ysi Other favourites - Bithard and Avol Waves, On The Top, Fly, Fighter, We Are Eternity. There's some thick accents in some of those though that need to be toned down. Magic is going to be a hilarious car crash live with that random operatic interlude. |

Okay the ones I thought had potential (providing they get revamped of course, but Georgia are good with that):
Trio Mandili - Me da Shen (aka Amambanda mess <3) Asea Sool - Nature Elene Mikiashvili - Fighter Sparkle - On The Top The Mins - Crime Maliibu - We Live Once Rati Durglishvili - Why Mariam Chachkhiani - Fly (this one seems the most immediately Eurovision-y) You Are My Sunshine is effing weird. eta: omg Lisa I COULDN'T with "We are eTORNity" |

^ Lol yeah that's exactly what I meant by the thick accents.
I liked the melody of it and I could live with We Are Etornity if it was picked and tweaked a little. I thought you'd like that Nature one with its alternative Suus vibe.

Wow, Georgia.
![]() Surprised at the number of songs and the general quality of them too... Seems our old friends Linda & Ylva have a finger in the Georgian pie this year. I was wondering when they'd make an appearance.

It fair canters along now. I like the tweaking they've done. It's a very good pop song imo. I'd be more than happy to see it in Kyiv, but I'm dreading slightly the live performance.

I just hope that the forums don't look overly messy with GIFs and embedded videos. Especially in this thread around NF seasons when we'll all be posting YouTube videos to performances, etc. Has the potential to become really messy.

Happy to hear it's staying (for now
