The Lithuanian songs are being released into the wild at a pace now.
One more from the Linda & Ylva Collection and it's not bad compared to a lot of the guff they produce.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0rpqtsoufo This is my current favourite though, from the extreme Manglish to the cheap filming and dancing the likes of which have not been seen since Jacko shuffled off stage left... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3avVl5t7h9s I love the bow legged pose.

After my initial fan-girling when the songs were released, I've switched allegiance and am now Team Kevin in the Maltese Borg-off
It could be epic! |

Happy New Year all!
I love that To The Sky came up in the top 25. It was a favourite of mine that year, and it came on shuffle earlier and sounded amazing. (Although it was the studio version and not the Eurovision version so sounded different). Great song! |

I like them both! I also like the Maltese ballad, something different. Maxine wins for me though.

If it wasn't for the errr...subject matter, Maxine might have been my pick, doesn't sound terribly appropriate for Ukraine or anywhere at the moment

I think Malta could be in trouble with this decision that there's no changing the winning song this year. Reckon they must have run out of money after Ira and JESC.

I see Louis Walsh has invited Johnny Logan to write a song for Brendan Murray..
translated from a Portugese article.... In an interview with the Irish Mail, Louis Walsh, who is in charge of Ireland's participation in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, has invited Johnny Logan, winner of the European competition on three occasions (2 as an interpreter and 1 as a songwriter) to write a song for Brendan Murray. "I loved Johnny writing a song for us ... That would be great," admitted the X Factor jury who recently called on young songwriters to submit their proposals. "He knows the formula and knows very well what works. There is no one out there better than he ... He knows how to win," he said, making sure he has other alternatives: "If he does not accept it, I'll get a big Songwriter from England. I'm confident about that. I'll start looking for the song in January ... and I will get it. " This is going to go so well.....isn't it.

A few hours of ROCS Travel and Mediterranean Bank adverts will soon sort out any money worries.
