Just listened to the Maltese songs, can't belive one in Maltese slipped through the net at TVM

My favourites are
Maxine Pace - Bombshel
Janice Mangion - Kewkba
Kevin Borg - Follow
Claudia Faniello - Breathlessly
Jade Vella - Seconds Away
Rhiannon Micallef - Fearless
Raquela Dalli Gonzi - Ray of Light
Brooke Borg - Unstoppable

Its a really good selection this year, I just can't believe that Christabelle isn't there. When Don't Look Down came on I thought they where trying to send Destiny to the adult show underage then it started properly and I was disappointed

REasonably happy. My own and my 12p advanced and 3 others I awarded points to. Also some (IMO) extremely boring songs advanced...

Gutted I didn't vote. Would have helped Jet Lag and Faded through probably.

Shocked that Shamrock was my closest qualifier but not shocked that all 3 failed to go through
Yes, since probably very close. Didn't vote for #11 and #12, but gave big points to several songs in top 10 so might have voted myself out of final...

OMG really?
It was the best song this year my FAR and one of the best Swedish entries ever in an incredibly poor MF year
I've packed your belongings and placed them by the front door for when your taxi arrives, it was nice knowing you.
Pardon? "If I were dreary" was worse than The Ark and Anna Bergendahl.
OMG. Some people have no taste

Rock and Tenors, two words to strike fear into my soul, even more so combined.

Progress! I'm sure it was 0 for a long while last year. As long as those 2 are Doinita and Doritos I'm happy.

Rumour has it that Doinita is giving it a miss this year.

The Moldovan's usually rush en-masse on the last day to get their entries in. I'll be surprised if there's less than the usual 20 plus once the deadline is done.

oh, and Germany were due to unveil their 5 Finalists today, but now they're not.

All going swimmingly isn't it.

There's still time for Ylva and Linda to rustle up a Melfest knock-off to twist her arm again like last year.

I hope we get the logo soon. It's bound to be the most Ukrainian thing ever.

I hope the flags come back in to the graphics. They were left out completely from Stockholm: 2016 the "dandelion seeds" blurred out the flag in the presentation. I liked the "Country Name" graphic but I think they should have involved the flags better like Malmo: 2013. Copenhagen: 2014 was a brilliant example of flag and graphic fluidity even though the scoreboard was lazy. I love the scoreboard in Vienna: 2015 but it took a step back in Stockholm: 2016. In fact last year was really lazy in the branding front and was a blatant copy on Sofia: 2015

OGAE should make a proper one and help the fans!

And anybody ridiculously interested to see what on Earth Ukraine picks this year? 3 Semis people, 3! Oh Jamala's name must be just about unspeakable like a muggle ESC version of Voldermort in NTU HQ now-a-days! The money she's cost them! 25th Feb here we come!

They should probably have a lot of trees in the 2017 logos - points if there's St. Sophia sprouting out of a tree or the leaves are arranged in such a way to look like Ukrainian textiles - I know, I'm quite visual. After-all, I'd be celebrating them if I was Victoria Romanova, what with spending £20,000 or so on one and felling Sergey's extraordinarily expensive, amazing wall-walking trick with it....
