Jacco, has anything been said about Saara doing our X factor over in Finland
Edit: I've only 'known' you for about 5 years, and I'm still getting Norway and Finland confused ![]()

Best Ever Eurovision Key Change
So we all love a classic key change and Eurovision is famous for them, but just what is the most epic of all time? There are so many to chose from.
First come first served. I'll accept entries until Sunday evening |

Go to Madrid. First song in the taxi from the airport is from Barei. Sounded better than at Eurovision!

Happy first day of Eurovision season all.
You might have already discussed it this month when I've not been here, so apologies if so, but did anyone see the Eurobeat Moldova show with Rula Lenska and Lee Latchfors-Evans at the Edinburgh Fringe this year? I saw it last week and it was really good. Light hearted and not too much Eurovision stereotyping (which was a pleasant surprise!) |

What If We (Chiara) The come back queen, with that head wobble too.
Nije Ljubav Stvar (Željko Joksimović) I never really got this one Nćtur (Sigga) Such a 90's Eurovision song, love it La det swinge (Bobbysocks) This just makes me want to get up and dance Fĺngad av en stormvind (Carola) Whoever styled Carola needs to be shot, she looks like a tall elf and feathered hair is not a good look, great song though, maybe not the one that should have won though. Apres toi (Vicky Leandros) The 70's what a time for Eurovision, so many good ones including this I've Been Waiting for This Night (Donny Montell) Never noticed how out of breath he is in this, almost as bad as Getter Jaani going down the stairs Crno i belo (Kaliopi) Kaliopi! <3 I still remember when she walked past me and my friend in London and just said “Sorry Darling” such a diva Bra vibrationer (Kikki Danielsson) That mullet Love In Rewind (Dino Merlin) Took me a few years to actually like this song. Dona (Kaliopi) Justice for Kaliopi such a tragedy Marija Magdalena (Doris Dragovic) One of Croatia's best Rapsodia (Mia Martini) She's got a very large mouth, this was decent Dinle (Şebnem Paker & Etnic) Such a great bit of Ethnopop from the 90's Angel (Chiara) My favourite of Chiara's entries Hold Me Now (Johnny Logan) This was his best song I think Mojot svet (Karolina Goceva) Another good one Invincible (Carola) Now we are really talking If Love Was A Crime (Poli Genova) I think she could have won if it wasn't for the outfit and the straight hair My Number One (Helena Paparizou) Wow 11 years ago such a great winner, what a top 4 that year too What a great playlist |

I couldn't believe my luck yesterday when I was casually walking through a London park and saw none other than Saara Aalto, she even tweeted about our encounter.

Chiara - What if we just moved on...
Željko Joksimović - Oh god, retreat, retreat! Sigga - 90s class, even if Sigga does look like she's strolled in late from the office. Bobbysocks - Ye olde bop! Carola - Still a tune. Carola looks younger now. ![]() Vicky Leandros - Impassioned chansons will just forever will be lost on me. Donny Montell - At least it's upbeat and was a vast improvement on Love Is Deaf. Kaliopi - Being almost deafened by the Kaliopi scream live is something that should be on everyone's bucket list. Kikki Danielsson - Another slice of 80s fun. I know it means good vibrations, but my smutty mind just can't help but giggle. ![]() Dino Merlin - No. Kaliopi - Spotlight game on fleek, Sanna could never. Should've been in the final. ![]() Doris Dragovic - Back when Croatia actually knew what they were doing. Mia Martini - Fetch me the razor blades. Şebnem Paker & Etnic - If Turkey comes back they need to just send sultry-ethno every year. <3 Chiara - Next... Johnny Logan - Johnny boys best. Remember to listen without watching, lest you be suckered in to the lip smacking counting game! ![]() Karolina Goceva - Someone paid attention from the earlier contests and sent her better one. Carola - At her kitchen-sinking best. Poli Genova - Saving all the best until the end. Still amazing even with Obama singing it.Helena Paparizou - Aged incredibly well, as has the goddess herself. |
