Apparently Odessa is poised to be announced as host city tomorrow

Back in Brum. Looking forward to the results and a new playlist to distract from the post break blues, especially as we're being treated to a second Eurovision week in a row.

Interesting. One thing I did notice was that the governor of Odessa is Mikheil Saakashvili, who was president of Georgia when they went to war with Russia a few years back, We Don't Wanna Put In and all that. Might have no impact at all but wonder whether that would put Russia off taking part even further.

I notice a lot of the Odessa has won talk, is coming from Odessa itself unsurprisingly! I'm not complaining though I always wanted Odessa to win just to have somewhere non-obvious and of course for Eurovision-by-the-sea. Although I think the travelling fans would be well advised to pack a few jumpers rather than tank tops and shorts.


That puts an interesting twist on things!
