Well Hero's already had its annual appearance in a Eurovisony round. Utterly dying at Verka making the list. Interesting that it's a Swede-free zone!

My hand-eye co-ordination is shocking, so no.

Wooden spoon in a contest I was hosting! Oh the shame, the shame of it all...

I knew I should have stuck to my first choice (which was Hero, for anyone interested).”

(Where's the Smiley for 'mocking laughter' ? )
21CB must have been living under a rock not to notice the love for Poli over the last four months. Instead he picked a song that needed votes from portugal and myself to get into double figures.

At least you picked something different, so I rewarded it accordingly.

I thought that this might have been the contest to feature some of the older stuff. But no Bucks Fizz, no Anne Marie David, no Cliff, no Ronnie Carroll.

Thanks to all who voted, and esp ESCRoss for recognising the best of Carola's comebacks.

Could this be a case of Forum Groupthink?
When I started my list, at the top was "Anything Swedish" and then some other countries songs, so I decided to avoid Swedish songs completely. I wonder if we all thought the same?

Update on the hosting saga, even the broadcaster NTU are complaining about the delays now, saying they're not being told what's going on, that politicians have taken over the decision and that the EBU just want them to name a city, any city, just choose a city for god's sake!

The government are insisting it's because they've been waiting for financial guarantees from both cities. Let's be honest, they've left the choice down to Ruslana and Verka, and locked them in a room until they reach an unanimous decision, haven't they? We could be waiting until Christmas...

I always pick my song last as I think it's a bit cheeky when the host nabs the best song!

Where did the song Invincible finish in the actual contest?
Mumble Mumble. What was that? Fifth? Just fifth then. And Stormvind was, er....

And I haven't forgiven Invincible for screwing up the qualification chances of a proper Swedish Schlager song (from Estonia) by going on immediately before it. (And Foxy will deffo back me up here.)
