That's a real shame. I generally tend to like B&S.

Seeing as this is a few pages back now

So if the below was really our NF would we be happy? Is the UK’s music scene able to win, or at least do really well in Eurovision?

Song Number 01) All Saints - This Is A War
Song Number 02) Emeli Sande - Hurts
Song Number 03) Olly Murs - You Don't Know Love
Song Number 04) Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Come With Us
Song Number 05) BANKS - Gemini Feed
Song Number 06) Jakil - Truth Is
Song Number 07) Stooshe - Let It Go
Song Number 08) Bastille - Good Grief
Song Number 09) Phoria - Undone
Song Number 10) Tom Chaplin - Quicksand
Song Number 11) Florrie - Real Love
Song Number 12) Jack Savoretti - When We Were Lovers
Song Number 13) The Big Moon - Silent Movie Susie
Song Number 14) Jonas Blue ft. JP Cooper - Perfect Strangers
Song Number 15) Birdy - Words
Song Number 16) Shawn Mendes - Mercy
Song Number 17) MO - Who Do You Think Of?

Playlist

You have until 18:00 on Sunday 2nd October to PM me your standard Eurovision votes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, & 12). Anyone may vote even if you didn’t enter a song. However those who did enter must vote or face a 33% vote reduction (I know this isn’t in standard NF rules)

The begging bowl failed then. How will we cope without their boring AF dirges?

That was terrific!

I was going to continue the series with Mrs Thatchers rendition of Hard Rock Hallelujah, but it seems to have been taken down

To be honest even if Bos n' Hoz left the competition on a permanent basis even then I don't think I would miss them, practically all of their entries just leave me cold.

I don't want to be the one to make geeky have a little accident, but David Lindgren will be one of three Melfest hosts next year, along with Clara Henry and that Lassie bloke from 2015

That was my reaction too, turns out he's Sweden's answer to Conway Twitty. All this time I just assumed he was an unknown performer who stumbled out of a Colonel Saunders lookalike contest.

Haha! I knew it'd never live up to the amazingness of last year, but my god what a dull selection of hosts. On the plus side, thanks to some instagram stalking, Queenah Nah was in the studio just prior to the artist deadline.

I thought you'd be gutted geeky. If he's hosting then he's not competing.

And now Hasse will forever be known as Lassie on here.

btw, I'm really pissed at the Germans for not having a proper NF this coming season, mainly because it probably means Big Babs won't be hosting.

I finally got the time this weekend to accept the songs and send replies for Fantasy Heat 5. I've been busy for the past week.

Just reminding everyone that the deadline to submit your songs for Fantasy Heat 5 is 5PM this Sunday.

You'll see more of him this way and without all the added stress.

Plus I wouldn't be surprised if he did perform one of his bops during the weeks at some point.

At least we won't have to tolerate another Lindgren song this year.
