Hurrah for Saara getting through on X Factor- the editing really didn't suggest she was going to make it.
I notice most of the people voting for her in the Favourite Overs poll are Eurovision fans. ![]()

And then I actually heard it during playlist and then it's ****ing AMAZING. Not sure what that means though |

I know we don't normally talk about Junior Eurovision (I have only watched it once) but Cyprus has sent an absolute BANGER! It's called Dance Floor by get this George Michaelides (yeah I know).

I've never been able to handle Junior. I can't stomach performing children tbh.

I know the idea of young children performing in a televised singing contest sounds like something straight out of North Korea but I think JESC has really upped its game in recent years, the overall song quality last year was fantastic.

I might go Malta for JESC. The Italian winner in 2014 was extremely good, and wonderfully performed.
Last year had awesome entries from Russia Ukraine and Belarus. Overall quality both years very good |

I think I'm down to host this week so I should probably get around to deciding what the contest is, will hopefully open something tomorrow night.
I had an idea to try something a little different, Eurovision's weirdest moment, can be any clip associated with Eurovision or a national final etc, doesn't have to be a song. Are people OK with this? |

Definitely that man doing the car alarm wailing for 10 hours during the Azerbaijani NF a few years back, didn't quite make YouTube though

We could have it as Eurovisions most shocking moments widens the entries a little bit more

Looking likely that Saara Aalto has made it through to the live shows on X Factor.
2nd place again for her? |

Melanie C - Anymore - Wasn't sure what to expect, but not a bad start to the playlist.
Nyusha - Where you are, I am - Really enjoyed this, love the video too. X Ambassadors - Unsteady - Not bad either, quite liking this. The Seekers - I'll Never Find Another You - Not my cup of tea. Jungle - Busy Earnin' - Liking this, good video too. Years & Years - Meteorite - Not a big fan. Annalisa - Se avessi un cuore - Prefer other Annalisa songs, but good enough. CHVRCHES - Leave A Trace - Don't think I've ever heard any of their songs, but really enjoyed this. J Bastos - Loop di Love - Not for me. AURORA - Conqueror - Love Aurora's songs, most of her songs are fairly decent, really like this one. Sigala - Sweet Lovin' - Not bad either. Adore Delano - I Adore U - Again, really enjoyed this. Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man - No thanks. Basement Jaxx feat. Linda Lewis - Close Your Eyes - Really tried to like this, but that voice really grates on me, sorry. LALEH - Bara få va mig själv - Good enough. Martina McBride - Concrete Angel - What a voice, a great song. Kimya Dawson - Loose Lips - Erm...disturbed. Emilie Esther - Undiscovered - It's ok, but sounds like something that would finish 15th in a semi final. Anna Naklab feat. Alle Farben & YOUNOTUS - Supergirl - Really enjoyed this. Andra - Iubirea Schimba Tot - Glad someone entered this, had it on my list. Love Andra. Sam Tsui, Casey Breves & KHS - Treat You Better - Good enough, good video also. James Blunt - Bonfire Heart - Not really for me. |

Eurovision's weirdest moment
OK the contest to find the weirdest Eurovision moment of all time is now open, feel free to start sending me your entries via PM.
It can be a video clip of any moment associated with Eurovision or a national final in any way, and it doesn't have to be a song, I'm going to keep this as open as possible, the choice is entirely yours. There have been plenty of classic moments over the years and we're looking for anything random, shocking or just downright strange, deadline for entries is Sunday at 6pm. Any questions, feel free to send me a PM or ask on the thread. Good luck everyone!
