I hate this John Doe storyline and Paige is being a dizzy airhead. Since when was she so bloody clingy? The way her face dropped when Nate said a girl was looking for John. Why wouldn't he have a girlfriend? She knows literally NOTHING about the guy.

Totally agree. Neighbours casting is normally pretty good on the whole..ok excusing 'I have no idea how I even got cast as Im clearly not an actor Angus' But Madison is dreadful, she was so painful to watch when she was in that scene with Paul. Stafan Dennis is an excellent actor and having to watch him try his best to act with the character of Madison was cringe worthy. So many good actors out there working hard for their break and they hire lets face it a model. Pretty girl but no acting skills and you would never think she was Charlene and Scot's daughter. I was a huge neighbours fan growing up in the 80's and this role should have been better thought out and better cast. Charlene was tough and fiery. Plus they look nothing alike in my opinion. Disappointed. Even Xanthi would actually have been more believable in that role- looks wise as well.

I don't think anyone laughed at you SS. But she is 16 and he is 24 - it's never going to be appropriate.

All the current storylines are dull. I get bored watching lately.

It could have been a better storyline if Paige wasn't involved acting like a lovesick schoolgirl. I don't really care who John is due to the way its playing out. If it had taken a different route it may have been more interesting.

I'm nt sure that anybody ever laughed at the idea Tyler and Piper liked each other - clearly she fancied him and he did show signs of finding her attractive too. What was said (as another poster mentions above) was that an 8 year age gap when one of the people is 16, stiill at school and legally a child isn't appropriate so her parents had every right to be concerned, Tyler should realise the implications of a close friendship/relationship and back off and Piper should accept that - not act as though everybody is treating her unfairly or finding ways to spend time with him such as emotionally blackmailing him into driving lessons and being her 'date' after Josh died.

All of that still stands and I'm glad the show is reiterating it with Nate commenting on Tyler being the adult in the situation.

Piper has admitted that her deduction technique is basically to aggressively accuse everybody until one of them cracks, even though that means falsely accusing innocent people. I believe witch finders adopted a similar technique - guilty until proven innocent from the accusers 'gut instinct'.

Paige is so annoying. She knows nothing about this guy. She just wants him to be single, to be her personal property. If Mandy might be scamming him, how does he know Paige isn't? She's een hanging round him like a bad smell in an almost stalkerish way since the moment it happened!

Poor John Doe. His GF turns up, and she's the Aldi version of Paige.

I think both of these may be true. Maybe not prison, but drink driving. I hope he's not her dad but that's what I thought too. Especially with the way he talked about her mum. I was going to say I've never thought Jade and Sonia to be believable as sisters lookswise but having dads that are brothers wouldn't answer that

Jade is half Thai (or the actress who plays her is). It needs to come out at some point that her mum was very friendly with the Thai neighbour or something because they were similar-ish but Jade obviously had some Asian features that Sonya doesn't. I doubt she'll come back now so we can all forget about it .

Archie is Julie Quill's son and the half brother of Tom and his sister. He's always been a nasty kid tbh who has seen others as servants for him.



The John Doe stuff, ugh.

Wonder if she is lying like the wonderful snowflake Paige is saying she is? She protects him yet again. Sigh.

Has anyone got any theories on who caused the explosion? Mine is Tom Quill got Jacko to do it and the $10,000 is to pay him off. I did originally think it might have been Nene in a stupid bid to get revenge on Paul's behalf, then decided to set him up when he kissed Terese but we haven't heard from her for ages.

The explosion storyline is turning into a great who done it. Has anyone thought about Julie Quill herself? she said something today about doing anything to put Paul in jail....she knows she would get the insurance money to rebuild so is covered that way, and was nowhere to be seen when it happened....

Same. I've actually deleted the last week's episodes off my planner,I'm just not interested in watching them. I've not seen neighbours this bad in a long time.

Same here, the only reason I've been sticking with it is in the hope John does girlfriend does actually turn out to be the love of his life and Paige can be gutted, they have written the character all wrong, I lost a sibling and she should be sticking by her family, don't care about Sonia or Walter, mark is tedious, who made him the only cop in the shop, run Steph and keep going

The Neighbours script writers/planners are just awful at doing story arcs. They come up with these set pieces and some lame mystery surrounding it, but in the interim have no idea how to pace it out and keep people interested.

Some of the actors they have hired lately don't help at all of course.

I'm hoping John Doe and his "girlfriend" actually run a sex slave ring and sling Paige into a shipping container and send her off to the far east somewhere.

And is Terese just looking for a father figure at the moment? I mean Brad and Paul aren't exactly male models, but this guy seems like he should be going off on "wacky adventures" with Lou and Harold rather than trying to get into Terese's pants.

Once again they have partnered Mark off with someone who could actually bring him out of his shell so to speak. But they don't seem willing to change him at all.

Every character in neighbours goes through some kind of drastic personality makeover at some point it seems. But Mark hasn't changed one bit.

But for some reason I can't fathom, I'll still tune in every day :P

For me it all went downhill with the aftermath of the explosion but like you I still tune in!

I mentioned a few pages back that I think Julie Quill masterminded the whole thing and I still think it's the case. I think the hotel actually had some financial problems and she paid Jacko to cause the explosion to get the insurance money and frame Paul to get him out of the way.
It explains why she was so concerned earn she thought Tom was trapped in the building.

Anyone kind of want John Doe's girlfriend to be genuine just so precious Paige has to admit she was wrong for once ?

The producers really need to find a believable love interest for Tyler - one that doesn't make him look like a dirty old man.
