I agree with you, except that I doubt Amy is falling for Jack - she knows he's a priest with all that entails.

As Jack is a member of the community and involved with Brad's centre and uses the coffee shop, he can't stay away from Paige completely.

It's hard to see what his alternative would have been though. The seal of the confessional meant he couldn't tell anyone else he believed she was in danger.

You could argue that he had no way of knowing she'd take the attention she was receiving as a 'come on', but I do think it's a bit naive on his part not to see the risk, even if he couldn't see any other options. Then again, given that he does love her, it's also very probable that he doesn't see the self centred, self obsessed, shallow, immature child that many of us see when she graces our screens.

Have I mentioned that I'm not a Paige fan?”

I believe you may have done, Madge! Once or twice!

Who ever writes that tripe needs to watch Rocky 1. Look at how hard Rocky had to train before he fought Apollo Creed.

You cant compare the two! Rocky 1 was a classic and actually had a degree of realism to it. Where as Paige's first ever fight against a national champion organised by a bloke who has never done boxing promoting before isnt that realistic at all.

Come on! She's well prepared now. We've had the training montage. Nothing says "ready for action" like a training montage.

By the way, when Piper was convincing to fight, she mentioned "all those fights you got into at school", erm..... Piper had no idea what Paige got up to at school as she didn't know she even existed until about a year ago.

And the Flametree, I think Paul may well have overdone the shabby in shabby-chique.

I know, it was ridiculous today, and we're also expected to believe Paul not only knows Piper has a cat, but also the cats name? Bit harsh on the pigeons as well I thought. Terease lets herself down by telling him far too much, all she had to do was keep quiet.

I took it piper had been told rather than witnessed any fights, when long lost family arrive we have to assume off screen they tell each other a lot more than they have time to film for us.

It beggars belief that two supposed professional adults would carry on the way they do. Pathetic.

At long last Susan steps up and does her job properly. I still don't believe Elly didn't "realise" what she was doing to Piper but at least she is going for counselling and hopefully that will help her.

Paige should seriously grow up, her act is getting very tiring now and she acts all hard done by. Jack was only looking out for her but she acts like she would rather have been stabbed! I agree with others now though, Jack should just stay away from her.

As for this boxing match, I can understand Aaron and Tyler being concerned about Paige but seriously why is he acting like the £12,000 debt is like paying off a parking fine! He should have told Paige, it shouldn't have been left up to Piper to tell her.

I love how Brad's only concerns are about getting married and what dance he is doing at his wedding. You would never think he had some kids to worry about or the fact that his son/dad died this year! It must be great to be in Brad's world no grieving and no-one to worry about!

SO Paul is now breaking and entering and has been the means of destroying valuable racing pigeons. To say nothing of the cruelty of putting a cat in the cages - like shooting fish in a barrel! He really is vile!

And yes, Therese should keep her gob shut around him - didn't she learn anything from her ill-advised accusation that he'd put cameras in the rooms?

This business between Paul and Therese needs to end - preferably with Paul being sent away for a long visit to Elle!

In essence he has replaced Naomi as the character that does many jobs as they dont know what to do themselves. The issue with Aaron is he has no direction.”

All very well thinking, 'Chris has gone - we need to get Nate fixed up', but they should have thought it through a bit more. Aaron had no back story, apart from being a Brennan brother, which is probably why, after his career as an 'exotic dancer' came to an end, they didm;' know what to do with him job wise.

An awful waste of a competent actor and a n engaging character.

Xanthe is so whiny, the whole poor me act is wearing thin. Not to mention Xanthe and Ben has as much chemistry as a plank of wood.

It really was a poor excuse from her. It seemed lacking in a proper explanation. Is there more to come from it as it just seemed unfinished in some way.

Loved Piper's jibe at Elly about being Ned's g/f "for now".

Oh, Terese, you allowed yourself to do exactly what Paul did - which you were smugly celebrating over - by gloating so much you revealed too much to the person you should have stayed quiet around. *rolls eyes* Such lazy writing. And I'm getting so bored of this business rivalry; it's really isolated both Paul and Terese from other characters and storylines.

AGree. And why on earth is Ned wasting his time on her? Now he's found out how mean she was to his sister - and he aided and abetted that by nicking the blog - because he believed Elly! When the lads were having a discussion of their wedding roles, why was Elly there? Is she joined at the hip to Ned? Wise up, Ned, and smell the coffee! Dump her!

I don't generally like Piper's little bitchy asides but I did smile at the "my brothers girlfriend, for now".

I don't know how I feel about Piper having a go at Paige about the boxing. On the one had it was a pretty horrible and potentially dangerous thing to do - to just assume that Angelina is 'all talk' and Paige would win and arguably not caring that much if she doesn't - once aain she doesn't think through the full consequences, that people can be seriously injured or even die in the ring - it is not having your head flushed down the loo.

On the other hand, she is sick of Princess Paige always getting her own way and other people being hurt as she changes her mind. Paige has been ignoring everybody's warnings and concerns about the potential dangers, adamant that she knows best. She made a commitment, if she thought about it logically for a minute, she'd know there would be some financial penalty to backing out of an agreed and publicized match which somebody would have to pay. I don't entirely blame Piper for pointing that out, pointing out hoW her changing her mind was going to hurt Aaron.

Although of course, her feelings for Tyler were the main motivation and he is an idiot for spending any time with Piper at all, let alone wearing nothing but a towel.

I can believe that Paul knows about the cat and her name. Clemantine did become quite big news after saving Xanthe from Sid (or was it Sally)? - even leading to a film!

I was, once again, having a "wtf am i watching" moment when he took her to the pigeons. I agree, Paul really has sunk to a new low with this one and it appears to be being treated as a joke storyline from the trailer which is a bit jaw dropping.

Brad seemed surprised that his daughter was being truthful. He should have supported Piper in the first place. I'm glad Piper didn't gloat when Elly revealed that she had marked Piper unfairly and how she had treated her. Piper got a comment in at the end which let Elly know that she still didn't like her. Ben and Xanthe are well suited in that they shoot their mouth off without thinking. They need their heads knocking together to knock some sense into them. Terese is playing a dangerous game with Paul by totally provoking him in The Waterhole. I knew Paul would then go and do whatever needed to be done to ruin Terese's event. She's totally playing with fire when provoking Paul. Paul will win no matter what.

I think Paul would have opened the pigeon cage/coop thingy and chucked the cat in to scare the pigeons out not for Clemetine to eat them. I don't think the cat chomping her way through the birds is Neighbours friendly telly and they'll fly back pretty soon what with them being homing pigeons. Of course it will be just in time for the pigeon race and Lassiters will win and we'll all gasp in amazement 😁. This Paul/Terese thing is tedious, childish and pathetic and they both need to focus on their own businesses. I expected more from Terese.

I think she's got a brain tumour which Karl will diagnose and save her from. There's definitely more going on than total bitchiness and the writers need to turn the character around as she really isn't working.
