After his bouncy castle accident (still the most stupidest accident ever by the way) they told him that the operation he had to help him walk affected his sperm or something along those lines. He can still have kids but he has a low sperm count so it's meant to be virtually impossible.

It's to do with the scalpel 'slipping' during the operation to cure his paralysis a few months ago. They didn't directly say what happened but i get the impression they gave him a near vasectomy by mistake, in other words, he's not impotent but his semen can't get through - or at least most can't so conception the natural way is almost impossible.

I see they are doing the same thing as the Alessi twins on their introduction, not letting the other characters or viewers know there are two of them so it looks like they have a split personality or are compulsive liears or similar as they meet the same people independently.

There's an old saying that it is impossible to find identical twins that can both act - at best one of them can but often both are fairly appalling. There are exceptions, the girls that played the Burton twins in Hollyoaks were pretty reasonable but generally it is true.

Paige, just ++++ off. Ths is nothing to do with you. How is she even in those meetings between angelina's doctors and family? Why is Karl telling her everything? I'm not being so horrible as to say she doesn't care at all for Angelina's sake but mostly it is to do with her guilt. Her guilt won't go away as long as Angie 'wastes' away but if the op is a success and she recovers, guilt lifted, if it rails and she dies - yes dreadful but it will be over and she can console herself that Paige fought to give Angelina a chance so she did her best for her. Either way, better for Paige as she'd be able to move on.

Re the surrogacy, i agree that Mark and Steph really haven't been together long enough to take that kind of step. IVF and Surrogacy both put a huge strain on relationships and many couples can't cope and break up. That's then, not to mention what happens to the Surrogates family.

Steph may not want more children, end of, not just not want to carry them herself. She hasn't been a roaring success in the mother's stakes so far. Or would it be Sonya's egg, which would be all sorts of weird.

Erm, the difference being that Caroline and Christina looked identical if you didn't know them, whereas these two look as much alike as Brad Pitt and Ed Milliband.

Oddly, i actually always thought the Blakeney twins looked quite different. Gayle (Chrissie) had a fatter face, especially round the lower cheeks, jaw area.

Of course, the Alessis were actively pretending to be one person for some reason I can't remember now.

I think they were in Witness Protection. The thought being it would be safer for them to make it look like it was one person as the criminals where looking for twins.

I think Angelina's sister needs to remember that Paige didn't force Angelina to go into the ring. Anyway, it's a boxing match. Angelina was wanting to knock Paige out. The sister is behaving a bit immature. At least Paige has been by Angelina's side in hospital. I'm not sure whether that doctor is attracted to the same sex or not. I'm not sure he 'likes' Paige then, as he would have refused Aaron's phone call offer if he didn't fancy him. Besides, he was looking at Aaron every so often when they were in the Waterhole. I agree that Paige needs to stay out of the meetings. If the mother allows the operation to go ahead and Angelina dies, the mother will then blame Paige for talking her into allowing it to go ahead. Paige could be heading towards trouble by trying to convince the mother to allow them to operate. She should never have spoken to Angelina's mother about allowing the operation to go ahead.

Sorry yes you're right! That's why I said if you didn't know them. Once they'd been in the show for a bit it was pretty easy to spot the difference, as you say Christina had an ever so slightly rounder face whereas Carolines face was a bit more mature somehow. I can't remember now if Paul deliberately slept with Caroline or if they did the whole "Oops I thought you were your sister!" schtick!

I think it was deliberate after his relationship with Chrissie had gone through a rough patch. Didn't they do the deed in the lounge one night whilst Chrissie was upstairs asleep? I always prefered Caroline to Christina. Found Christina to be a bit of a drip.

Did they actually sleep together? I think he was sleeping on the sofa after a fight with Chrissie and when first waking up, thought it was Chrissie but kept on kissing her after he realised it was Caroline.

I don't think the new twins look that different from what we've seen on screen so far. It is just that i've seen a photo of them together in magazines which make the differences more obvious re height. But you'd think Amy, who has now met both of them, would twig to the likness but also differences, including introducing themselves with different names!

I think it is fair to say that it is harder to tell identical twins apart when they are apart and when you first meet them. Any differences are easier to spot when seen together and once you've got the hang of that when they are together, it is then much easier to tell when on their own.

That's what i've found anyway with the two sets of identical twins I've known in real life and also on screen.

As said though, i do think the Blakeney twins were one of the more different pairs I've seen. Often with identical twins, you can tell the difference butit is hard to say exactly what it is that is different about them. Oddly, sadly, it is just that one is 'prettier' than the other but you can't quantify why. I'd say the Burton twins in Hollyoaks (if anybody saw them) were like that. Sophie was prettier than Mel but I wouldn't have been able to say what was different in their features for that to be the case.

However, as mentioned, one Blakeney twin was fuller faced and younger looking than the other. Quite easy to quantify.

Josh and Imogen were of course twins as well, although it didnt seem to get mentioned much, only after Josh died did Imogen start mentioning it again. But they were as different as you can get with twins.

BIB It is astonishing that in all this Sonia has "forgotten" that it was she bursting into the operating theatre (really??) that caused the scalpel slip and put an end to any further little Toadies.

Sometimes I want to thump Sonia and sometimes I want to hug her which I suppose means she is a rounded character! The way she puts everyone first before Toadie is just awful.
