Brad's "They've crashed." announcement in yesterday's episode was just the most pathetic acting from Kip Gamblin yet. He announced it as though he'd just found out that Piper had handed in her homework late, rather than the fact that the death toll in his family this year may have just risen to 5!

Charming.”
Haven't seen today's - that's bad enough, but I take it she either asked about her family, or Jack reassured her they were alive before they did the deed?

Paige actually did a good thing for all her fellow passengers by jettisoning herself out of the basket. The pilot was chucking out the fuel barrels as he said he needed to lower the basket weight to control their descent. So Paige jumping out lowered the weight even further, therefore, maybe it's because of her, the pilot was able to prevent them from having a worse crash?

I can't blame her for her actions in jumping out - it was a fight or flight response from her. She chose flight (ironically in the case of a non-flying balloon!) while the others chose to stay and deal with the situation head-on.
However, as others have said, it's not great that she hasn't told her worried family that she's fine.
Also, I'm not sure sex is the recommended treatment for shock. Perhaps we should all carry out our individual research on that and report back?
