I have to agree. She says she respects his opinion but only if she gets her own way. It's basically "yeah whatever but we're doing what I want anyway"

Yep, when she joined Neighbours I loved Sonya, thought she was a great character and so good for Toadie. For me it started when she was revealed as Callum's mother, but lately she's become so controlling, so 'I know best'. As someone else said, she respects Toadie's opinion as long as he agrees with her. I think she's become a dreadful character.

To be honest I've not watched properly in years think the last time I watched properly was when Andrew and Tash were leaving. I'm trying to get back into it as I'm interested in the Dee return it just sounds so uninteresting from what I've read on here.

To be fair nats, we're still watching it for all our moaning and complaining. I honestly wouldn't miss it, despite the fact that there are a few storylines just going round in circles at the moment.

I also liked Sonya at first but can't stand her now. Scriptwriters seem to ruin so many characters - Paige and Imogen spring to mind as well. Toadis has brome a joke since he married her - strap on a pair, Toad!

As a lawyer I am sure Toadie knew the legal position before he married ST Sonya.

Yes, moaning is part of the fun- a bit like eating salt and vinegar crisps when you have a mouth ulcer!

Maybe. I can't remember if Karl spoke to David or not when he was in the hospital when Regan got brought in. Karl will likely be furious with David for reporting him and then being so nicey nicey with him after it. Maybe that's why David looks a bit sheepish when he talks to Karl.

Spoiler here if anyone's itching to know who and what is behind the complaints.

This is how i actually see the surrogacy storyline:

Therapist: So Mark and Steph, how long have you been a couple?

Mark: A few months at most. But we're totally committed to each other.

Therapist: And what makes you want to take part in surrogacy?

Steph: Well Mark hadn't long broke up with his fiancee when we got together. I thought to myself, he's a real catch so knowing how much he wanted a child of his own i hinted i wouldn't mind another one, possibly in the future. I'll say anything not to be dumped and on my own again.

Mark: When Steph hinted that one day, possibly she *might* want a baby at some point in the future i knew she was the one. And when Sonya suggested surrogacy i bit her hand off at the thought of finally being a daddy.

Steph: And i'm going along with it as i've got no chance of ever raising my other 2 kids Charlie and whatshisface.

Therapist: Ok then....Sonya what made you suggest being a surrogate to this clearly unstable couple who barely know each other?

Sonya: Well me and Mark are weirdly close for some reason and he bleated on so much about wanting to become a Dad and making all the excuses why precious Stephy couldn't have them yet. Then i thought, i'm an interfering little meddler with a free womb i'll be your surrogate. And it was decided.

Therapist: So Mr. Rebecchi how do you feel about your wife offering to be a surrogate?

Toadie: Erm.. well...

Sonya: He feels exactly how i do now please refrain from even acknowledging my husband. Toadie are you trying to ruin this?

Toadie: Erm...

Steph: Toadie how could you this has been my dream for over 3 episodes now (*cries*).

Mark: How could you upset Steph like this, do you know how wonderful she is? We want a baby, how dare you stand in our way, we're clearly going to be together forever, we're the same(ish) age and thats all that counts.

Toadie: Erm...

Therapist report: DENIED!!!! (PS Toadie tell your wife to shut up and Mark, Steph Scully is no catch, throw her back!)

End of story.

I will give Steph some credit this week as she was going to allow Elly to get her head kicked in at the memorial before Mark stupidly saved her. Still think they are foreshadowing Mark/Elly as they never hint at a couple without something happening somewhere down the line.

Thank goodness for some Typer action, even if they are going round in circles. Tyler really needs to man up and admit how he feels about Piper and face the dragon that is Terese head on. I love their will they/won't they but you can drag it out too long (look at Jack and Paige!).

Speaking of Piper, why did Susan suggest Elly would help her with the class she missed? The same Elly who's on probation for bullying her and can't be trusted to mark her work fairly. What an odd thing to suggest it only happened a few weeks ago and Elly's clearly still being a spiteful cow.

I think that people can be declared dead legally before 7 years if the evidence is convincing enough and nobody raises any objections to it - for example a child or parent of the assumed deceased. There are also ways for a missing person to be divorced in their absence. It's also possible the marriage could be declared invalid as she disappeared prior to consummation which is the final step in the contract.

As Lobby says, I'd be surprised if Toadie hadn't taken all the necessary legal steps before remarryang.

Brilliant summary of how the surrogacy interview should have gone Scorpio

This has to be tongue in cheek, because the characters Toadie, Sonya, Mark & Steph would never say any of this!!!!

I like Typer, but looks like creepy Angus gets in there.

Good summary Scorpio!

Really hope Typer doesn't happen - it's icky and Tyler has hardly been behaving all lovelorn! But yes, why Elly? Why was she on Lauren's hen trip? Why was she at the memorial? (Why did Piper and Tyler use the memorial as a chance to flirt - you are supposed to show respect at these things!)

I agree Scorpio (I am scorpio too) and would just say about Elly - what is the point of her?

Yes, I also found Typer hanging around at the Church or Crematorium after the Service to flirt a little odd and disrespectful.

The whole Tyler/Piper thing does neither of them any favours but particularly Tyler as he's the adult. And Piper has no self respect if she gives him the time of day after he slept with her sister. Twice.

I really do wish they'd give Tyler a proper storyline.

I can't wait for Tyler's reaction when
Spoiler
Piper sleeps with Angus next week. I know it is poor decision making on her part (to say the least) but I hope Tyler suffers when he hears about it. It's the least he deserves

He also went out with her other sister and snogged her. I don't think they ever did the deed though. I hope they find him a girlfriend who's his own age and stop this schoolgirl/man thing soon as it's not at all comfortable.

I think it is a real shame that the scriptwriters don't seem to know what to do with Tyler and Aaron. Their storylines are such a shambles!

They blatantly have zero idea what to do with Aaron. On what planet would a neighbour seemingly be in charge of an entire streets social media output?!?! Or has he changed job again in the last week?!

I'd completely forgotten about his dalliance with Imogen. Remember when he kept dropping his kilt in front of her.

Her and Terese. That's all of them except Piper now being fully aware of his genitalia .

And this is a good basis for a relationship?

As others have suggested, it is time the scriptwriters gave Aaron and Tyler some decent story lines - but `i forgot! They're pretty incompetent! They wouldn't know a decent storyline if t bit them on the bum!

What is wrong with the men in erinsborough? We've had weeks and weeks of Jack mooning about gazing at Paige and never making a decision, just keeping her on a piece of string ready for next time he changes his mind. Now we have Tyler doing the same over Piper, As for the drippy new boys, those twins have all the charm and energy of a wet lettuce.

Please can we have some real men move into the street, no wonder Therese fell so easily for Gary, for the sake of the ladies of Ramsay Street he should round up the male residents and run some classes at the community centre.
