😁😁😁

It almost feels at times like the writers of neighbours are solely trying to work out a way to force Drab to show some signs that he's actually human. Lose several jobs? Kill his son? Give his dad dementia? Kill his dementia dad? Leave his wife? Have his wife sleep around? Have another son revealed to be in a dangerous gang, have the hots for his fiancé and run away? Have one daughter leave town? Have another daughter fall in love with an older guy? Stick his third daughter and his next wife to be in a plummeting hot air balloon? Poison him to near death?

...and still not the slightest emotional response from the miserable git!

Mark my words, one of these days a bomb will go off on Ramsay St killing everyone but Drab. Or he'll win the lotto and lose his winning ticket. And his response will be to yawn or sigh.

Not a fan of Laurens Mum, she just isn't very Mumsy....if that makes sense. Also could Lou really still be having sex at his age? I kinda doubt it and it's a horrible thought

Piper's reaction to hearing about Lou and Kathy was priceless, brilliantly done and quite funny.

Hit the nail on the head here. Brad is an appalling excuse of a character. To lose your son and dad in one day and provide the emotion of someone that has misplaced their pen is just appalling. The thing is the character is just a deadbeat. (Something that Pail brilliantly put) And to add to that having the incompetent Kip Gamblin playing him really doesnt bode well. In fact Brad is so poor that he at times makes Red Rum bearable.

I think that is meant to be the point. Kathy is a successful businesswoman and was hard enough to lie about Paige dying and put her up for adoption. A 'mumsy' type wouldn't have done that, she'd either have supported Lauren or even offered to help care for the baby with her if Lauren couldn't cope by herself.

Lou's about 70 isn't he? A lot of men that age would still be able to manage it.

Pioer did react wonderfully.

You parts don't stop working once you hit 60 you know, I hope mine are still fully functioning along with Mr D's. It's not the nicest of ideas thinking of the elderly doing it but I'm sure they still enjoy themselves in a nudie fashion now and again.

So, that's what Lou and his ex-wife were hiding then. What exactly has Xanthe's mother got herself into for her to owe $4,000 in an installment? Either she's in a hell of a lot of debt or the lender just wants a, say, $20,000 loan paid back quickly. It sounds to me like she's went to a loan shark and is having to deal with the consequences. Either that, or she's lent money from someone who's very dodgy and has told her that to pay her debt off, she has to sell fake jewellery to people and charge expensive prices.

It could be worse - it could be Harold . Actually I'd rather not think of anyone doing it whether they are old and saggy or not

Carpenter rooted Annalise when he was about 50 and she was 17. So why is anyone shocked or disgusted by his current behaviour?

Good point, she is definitely a hard as nails type, that comes across very well.

I would say Lou is well over 70, but tbh I don't want to think anymore about that particular story

I'm just emembering that Max and Jim were meant to be about 40 when it started and Lou wouldn't be much older than them since he went to school with Madge and Harold. Mid 79s perhaps but can't be any older than that.

But no, not a great subject to ponder for long.....

Louis "The Little General" Carpenter is 78 years young

Lou's 50th was in 1992, so probably screened in Oz in 1991. So, 74-75 then.

But what I want to know is Mal Kennedy's age, as coming up for 38 years seems on the low side for Karl and Susan to have been together. I'm Libby's age as her first year at uni coincided with mine and I'll be 38 next month. So it doesn't seem right, unless they don't count the years they spent divorced

The Kennedys arrived in 94 didnt they and Mal was in his last year at school so 17ish? That would give a 77 year of birth so yes, you'd think them marrying in 75 or 76 would be more likely than 78.

Yes, 74 or 75 dies sound about right for Lou as Madge was older than Max wasn't she, though not by much I don't think. Jim Robinson was certainly born in 45 or earlier as his Dad was killed in WW2.

Max was the baby. Tom was the eldest and Madge the middle child.
