Its once he marries them he goes funny.

It could quite likely come back and bite him on the bum and she is completely unaware. On the other hand I cannot see any spark between them at all now - Lauren just panders to Paige's every wish and I just wish Paige would leave.”

He supported Josh through all his decisions tbh. Infact he was too involved with Josh he neglected Imogen tbh. I just think he tends to over compensate for missing out on on his kids lives. He does it with Paige and now Ned.

I think it is disgusting he used Terese over the whole Maxine thing. Lauren is his flame and is capable of helping him. Ned is big enough to take responsibility, no one told him to mess with Regan etc. If he is worried about Ned the least he can do is call Beth and alert her to what is going on with her son. Any decent man would try and make peace with her for Ned.

Really think we need Beth Back tbh.

I thought he wqs rather bullying with Josh when he wanted another trainer but maybe I have got that wrong.

I did not follow the logic of involving Therese at all and that is no basis for a marriage. Just a plot device so that Paul could blackmail Therese - I am so sick and tired of all that malarkey!

EVERYTHING involving Paul and Therese is tiresome, even though Paul is easily the most entertaining character on the show. The sooner he becomes rich again, takes back Lassiter and she disappears from his scenes (or preferably the show full stop!) the better.

The only thing Paige has going for her is the actress's looks. As a character she's insufferable most of the time due to disjointed writing.

I think she could be quite good with better material but there is no hope for "teeth" !!

it feels in this thread at times if Paige saved Nel from being hit by a speeding car some would find a reason to call her selfish for doing it

Probably.... after all , saving Nel from a poisonous snake attack at risk to her own life didn't exactly see Teeth become a beloved character did it...? 😄

I like Paige. I can see why she's the way she is and I think Jack has treated her really badly. I wasn't impressed when she ignored the fact that her brother and grandad had died because she was too busy sitting by a stranger's bedside and having her hair done. She can't even be compared to Dobbin with her poor enunciation, strutting about in shoes she can't walk properly in and a too tight skirt, making nasty bets affecting people's lives and being an all out nasty cow. I could completely see Paige's point about Blaze and the fact that some people felt unable to seek help because of the strict rules of the Catholic Church. She may go about things in the wrong way but she's not vile like Elly.

It was Ned who initiated the payments with his "I stuffed up" phone call to Brad so I think we can take it as read!

I have not seen a scene where David or Leo have been pointed in Pauls direction.”

What suggests that they have any interest in the residents of Ramsey Street? Do you think that it's the only street in Erinsborough? There's been no suggestion whatsoever that either mother or father even lived in Erinsborough let alone Ramsey Street.

It would explain why their great-grandmother was introduced instead of simply their grandmother - as their grandmother would have been called Mrs Taylor and given it away (it was mentioned they took the name Tanaka from their stepfather). It seems like an odd choice to introduce their great-grandmother given their age, they must be mid to late 20s. How many people still have a great-grandparent alive at that age?”

A fascinating theory but sadly Kim was not Asian, not even a little bit. Moreover she did not give birth in Erinsborough having been whisked away by her mother very shortly after deciding not to go ahead with an abortion early in the pregnancy. I suppose it's possible that they could be going down this road but it would need an awful lot of rewriting of history.

I choose to believe that Annalise is still a happily married woman, though it would certainly be good to see her back on the street!

Was Lou romantically involved with Annalise?? Yuk if the answer is yes.

The actress is described as Asian/Eurasian in this profile. Although I remember both her parents were played by white people. So the character was not supposed to be Asian, unless they decide to shoehorn in any nonsense about her being adopted.

Yes..... and it turned out she was only 17 at the time, although I think Lou believed she was older.

OMG 😨

I never liked Lou from the first time he arrived chasing after Madge. I've always found him creepy.

The actress if half Asian and the character had two white parents but you never know - she could have been adopted or her mum may have accidentally shagged someone Asian and pretended she hadn't . You never know with Neighbours. I suppose it's feasible that if "Bradley" was Japanese and she was half Japanese she could have produced those revolting twins. Considering they are nothing alike and don't even come from the same country (one Aussie and one Kiwi) I think the writers think we'll believe any old crap. It's like Sean Connery playing a Spaniard with a Scottish accent or Jean Reno playing an Italian with a French accent or even Arnie being Dutch and Van Damme being Canadian. We just have to suck it up

I remember Lou and Annalise, it was round about the same time Donald and Marilyn Fisher got together on Home and Away - another relationship with an enormous age gap that strangely worked really well.

I remember at the time, speculating with a school friend that Kim was going to turn out to have been adopted due to being orphaned in the Vietnam war (she was the right age) as she was so clearly Eurasian in appearance.

Bradley appeared on screen, he wasn't Japanese.

I don't know how I missed this - Post of the Year for me! The only problem is, the way Neighbours is behaving at the moment, it would almost seem plausible for Toady to have uttered this as a line!

You are completely right. And he does all this at the same time as chewing his top lip.

Sonya's "I hear you"s are highly irritating. Especially when the true meaning is "I hear you, but I don't give a toss about your opinion and I'm going to do what I want anyway or sulk like a baby if I can't."

If anything Sonya is selfless.

Yet she isnt. Throughout all this, all the good deeds she does for everyone there is always someone that she neglects. Her own Husband. Poor Toadie gets forced into everything, where on the face of it she gives allows him to have is own opinion but she actually doesnt. Sonya simply bullies Toadie. She makes him let her do whatever she wants without considering how he feels.

Someone said above that Toadie and Sonya were stable. They really arent. They are constantly fighting and have had near splits more times than Brad has felt his greasy hair. If this surrogacy does split them apart i dont think it will be a bad thing. Sonya is for me actually a very conniving, and nasty character. Being blind to the feelings of those that you should be closest to is no way to act.”

Oh, that was me I think. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say they're able to work through their issues and remain together. Which is like a lot of long-term marriages - there are peaks and troughs. But I think this surrogacy issue might be insurmountable when one of Mark's Olympic swimmers wins the gold medal and St Sonya inevitably will want to keep the child, now Steph wants out.

Leo could slip on it and break his neck and Sheila could find herself up the duff!”

Worrying isn't it, when this starts to sound slightly plausible!

First Jack giving into the flesh, every single teenager that turns up at Blaze being weary of a catholic preist due to 'stuff in the media' and now granny T. I think will all can guess that Paige will be one of the pregnancies due to her and Jack's fling,. I really hope Sonia is the other one because this storyline does need to be played out. Btw can someone please tell the actor who plays Leo to stand up straight and try more facial expressions than the two he seems to constatntly use - smiking and 'looking like he is in pain'”

Totally agree.

Welcome! Yes, Mark brings a whole new meaning to the word 'milkman' doesn't he? If I were Toady, I'd keep my cornflakes covered up first thing of a morning when Mark's delivering the goods!
