It was Ned who initiated the payments with his "I stuffed up" phone call to Brad so I think we can take it as read!
Erm, so why did Ned burn her house down?

Not sure it's been confirmed, but I would guess it would either be revenge on Jacka causing the death of Josh and Doug, or an attempt by Ned to get Jacka to back off targeting his family when Jacka found out Ned had been having an affair with Regan.

Errrrrr, so on what planet does Tim Collins think he can blackmail Terese??? They have video footage of him dumping that soil and he thinks he can demand the footage back or he'll blab about Ned? She should've just told him to jog on! He blabs and the whole world gets actual video evidence of his dodgy ways. He would be the one who's rep was ruined, not Terese. Typical Neighbours, moronic plotting.

Sonya's "I hear you"s are highly irritating. Especially when the true meaning is "I hear you, but I don't give a toss about your opinion and I'm going to do what I want anyway or sulk like a baby if I can't."
She always says it in a slightly irritated, dismissive kind of way, with the subtext: I hear that you're saying something but I won't consider it because I don't actually give a shite what you think, so there no real reason for me to listen to and digest the actual dialogue.

I laughed when I saw the clip of Drab spinning round in the dance for his wedding, just thought about the comments that would get on here

Grease flinging all over the place, Dee will probably glide in on it.

Am i the only one who found Trixie Tucker's return just odd? She was the reason Lou went bankrupt and went to prison not to mention the fact she dropped him like a hot potato with all her debt and ran off with her ex husband yet she's the ex he thought he might rekindle things with on the rebound from Kathy. All just seemed like a complicated way to get in a reference to how Jack and Nina were.

The actor who plays Aaron has improved hugely - he was just so wooden before. Btw can someone please tell the actor who plays Leo to stand up straight and try more facial expressions than the two he seems to constatntly use - smiking and 'looking like he is in pain'

I agree, but I think the character really suffered for a while because they didn't know what to do with him. I wasn't impressed with Matt Wilson at first, my thoughts were really just 'here we go again, another good looking male cast for his looks not his acting skills' but he's improved so much. I'm really enjoying Amy and Aaron's friendship too.

LOL you're right about Leo, he does hunch over or slouch. I prefer David to Leo, Leo's been, so far, just a bit of a jerk and quite a one note character.

I love Tim Collins! He's such a good baddie and I love his fights with Paul and Terese.

So Terese is so angry that she has fired Leo. But she has still let him stay in Lassiters Free of Charge. Doesnt make sense.

Just seems like the scriptwriters conveniently forgetting as there isnt any room on Ramsay Street.

Paul is better at eating dinner acting than David Tomato is at yawning before speaking acting.

Apologies if someone has speculated about this before..... I think the answer to the he Tanaka twins paternity mystery is hidden within their Great Grandmother's Buddha ornament. I think inside there is a photo or letter. The ornament will get broken in a fit of rage by one of the brothers and the truth will out. Just a thought....

Leo said something about there being two different contracts for employment and accommodation, so she couldn't kick him out if she wanted to. Still doesn't make much sense though, I agree!

I think your right. I also think its going to be Paul who's their dad, the whole Leo making enemies with Paul, going out with Amy but not sleeping with her - its looks like its building up to Paul's being the dad. I hope I'm wrong though.

This has probably been mentioned before, but I have just noticed there is no Neighbours next week. Presumably it's the Christmas break already and will be off air until the New Year.

I agree. They mentioned the Buddha ornament too excessively for there to be no point to it. I also think Paul is their dad as Amy is has so far been involved with both brothers and shared an awkward kiss with David and was about to kiss Leo but Ellie interrupted them. Why would they not just let them kiss properly if they weren't related?

I like Paige. I can see why she's the way she is and I think Jack has treated her really badly. I wasn't impressed when she ignored the fact that her brother and grandad had died because she was too busy sitting by a stranger's bedside and having her hair done. She can't even be compared to Dobbin with her poor enunciation, strutting about in shoes she can't walk properly in and a too tight skirt, making nasty bets affecting people's lives and being an all out nasty cow. I could completely see Paige's point about Blaze and the fact that some people felt unable to seek help because of the strict rules of the Catholic Church. She may go about things in the wrong way but she's not vile like Elly.
I liked Paige when she first arrived but I can't bear her now. I hate that she didn't go to Doug's funeral but had time to get a hair cut and when she jumped out of the balloon she was too busy sha**ing Jack to even call her family to let them know she was ok or to find out if they were ok. Piper got it spot on when she called her a spoilt madam- that's exactly what she is.

I still love Paige though I'm frustrated with her storylines. They really should've had her and Jack get together by now. It reminds me a bit of Daniel and Imogen, they dragged that out and instead of getting them together subjected us to a year of Daniel and Amber instead. I'd like to see Paige get her happy ever after with the priest. And she needs to go to uni occasionally too, poor lass is never going to get a degree.

Meanwhile Aaron, Amy and the Tanaka boys are my favourite characters at the mo. I love Aaron's friendship with Amy. He's really grown since this start of the year when he was oddly mixing with Ben and Xanthe and the nicked money plot. I like the way Aaron has been drawn into Davids struggle with his sexuality. I also think Leo has potential as a character, as brothers they are both quite intriguing.

I thought this too as otherwise there was no point to the Buddha!

Not sure it's been confirmed, but I would guess it would either be revenge on Jacka causing the death of Josh and Doug, or an attempt by Ned to get Jacka to back off targeting his family when Jacka found out Ned had been having an affair with Regan.
But didn't Jacka hate his mum? Why would he care?

I have been thinking that too.

Have I got this right, Leo's grandmother calls him 'Rat'? And I assume, not in an affectionate way. She's a bit of a mean spirited cow, isn't she? Or was.

Thank goodness Brooke has been exposed, that "Honeybunch" chat is very wearing.

If I never have to hear that song by Fungus again it will be too soon. I hope they don't intend trying to market it irl, because imagine wanting to like a song based on a teenager lusting after a teacher and forcing himself at her multiple times... Don't stand so close to me this is not.

*shivers*

I'm another one that isn't minding Ellie that much now. At least her faults are made clear and condemned rather than congratulated unlike certain other chatacters I could mention.

Re still finding something to ctiticise about Paige even if she saved a young child, well it would depend on her reason for doing it. If it was motivated by wanting to look good, if she had something to gain for her out of it,then yes I'd still criticse her.

It is her motivations rsther thsn her actions that I have a problem with most of the time.

And once again. I liked her a lot for her first year in the show.

Okay, unless Ellie has misremembered, Angus has assaukted her. It'll be interesting to see how they handle this.
