I think Creepy Angus is more "Every Breath You Take" towards Elly.

How can a 60 year old Granny who works in a bar borrow more on her mortgage? She couldn't afford it without renting a room out so how is she going to find even more money? Load of old tripe.

I go back to my previous suggestion. Extreme violence.

I know I'm going off topic but does anyone know the Christmas song playing whilst Therese and Paul were eating? The only bit I could make out was "know that Santa soon will fly all around this happy town"

You're not wrong.

Can't figure out how the writers want us to respond to this whole storyline, love's young dream it's certainly not and the whole thing is just making me super uncomfortable.

I agree about the ornament having a photo or something in it, and Paul being their father.
Really going to miss this when it goes on break!

I know genetics is a funny thing and I have a hairdresser who is black and has two white, red haired children so you never know but the idea of Paul fathering two Japanese children is just downright weird. I'd rather "Bradley" was prolific knocker upper Brad Willis but he wasn't in Erinsborough back then. The cliff hangers will be the return of Dee and the two pregnancies so we'll have to wait ages now to see if the writers have lost their tiny minds .

Paul and Brad are both already fathers to five children by three different women. If the Tanaka twins do turn out to be either of them sons that'll mean the culprit is a father of seven kids by four different mothers!

Neighbours are doing 5 small webisodes which will be on the facebook page and on You Tube over the Christmas break, including a special Christmas Day message from Sheila Canning!

The Webisodes are:

Spoiler
Ben and Xanthe hitting the rocks
Karl panicking over cooking Christmas dinner
Piper and Tyler struggling to spend New Years eve together
And a few episodes on Toadie struggling to deal with the news about Dee

Re still finding something to ctiticise about Paige even if she saved a young child, well it would depend on her reason for doing it. If it was motivated by wanting to look good, if she had something to gain for her out of it,then yes I'd still criticse her.

It is her motivations rsther thsn her actions that I have a problem with most of the time.

And once again. I liked her a lot for her first year in the show.

Indeed. Fungus gives me the creeps, he's such a wee stalker.

This confused the hell out of me.

First she says she'll have to borrow on her mortgage and use her winnings to pay off the neighbours. Then the next thing you know she's writing a cheque to the loanshark.

So, did she apply to borrow on her mortgage, get it approved and then transferred into her account between scenes?

Plus she never even asked the bloke how much it was. The last figure mentioned was $40k, so did she give him the full whack? She made it sound that she was stretching herself just paying back the neighbours and that can't have been anywhere near the 40k, more like a couple of thousand, if that.

Oh and supercop Brennan strikes again. Completely missing the signs when Angus asked in the most shifty way possible "Did Elly say anything about Halloween night?"
"No, did something happen?"
"Nooooooo?"
"Ok then. Investigation over"

Does anyone know if the way he wears his trousers is some sort of Aussie fashion atm. His boney white ankles sticking out of his rolled up trousers is extraordinarily unattractive and makes him look like a 12 year old.

Thank goodness he has gone, might become more watchable again. Just needs the dreadful Elle to disappear too to make it enjoyable.

The loan on the mortgage was to pay everyone back and the cheque was the $2k she had left over from the gamehsow winnings. You're right - she didn't even ask how much. I think the jewellery guy just kept adding money to the debt so it would never be paid off. Maybe he could use some of it to buy shampoo and a jacket that isn't a Kappa shellsuit

I loved Angus first time round but this time they've made him so creepy and weird. Good riddance.

Love Elly though.

Great to see Peter Hannay again, wasn't expecting that at all. His storyline with Elly hasn't really done him any favours but I still liked Angus and I'm going to miss him.

All this trouble for Elly and all because Angus wouldn't take no for an answer. I felt like just telling him that this is what his refusal to accept no has resulted in. What a fool. Looks like Paul's out to get Leo now then, what with Leo accepting a bet to successfully have sex with Amy before Christmas. He should not underestimate the lengths Paul will go to in order to get revenge. I had an idea that Xanthe's mother would end up leaving without telling Xanthe first. Another letdown for Xanthe.
