That's a good point. Paul should be thanking Mark, not trying to ruin him. If it hadn't been for Mark's obstinate pursuit of justice (in the end), Paul would still be in prison and Julie would be investing in more white jackets and skirts.

I'm actually curious as to where the external scenes for Robinson's are filmed.

I was in Melbourne in March so (obviously) did the Neighbours tour. The School (which is actually just to main entrance to the studio with a quick change of sign), garage, 'Dial-A-Kyle' (although by that time on set it was 'Handywoman') and Lassiters were all next to each other but there was no sign of Robinsons.

I wonder if they've found a nearby motel that's happy to have them use that for their external scenes of Robinsons?

She went to speak to Scott on the phone and have a cocktail. Paul must have really speedy fingers and we know Madison isn't the sharpest. Whoever is writing for the girls/young women on the show is flipping awful. Paige is pure brat, Piper is a stroppy child, Xanthe is over the top, Madison is sugary sweet and dense. They are almost cartoon characters.

Steph is always looking foxy . If I was that way inclined she'd be my choice. Gorgeous woman with an amazing body too.

Madison is too nice I think, hopefully they give her a storyline where she has faults (and not just "I'm too nice to people") because it's almost silly right now.

The neighbours woman are all amazing at the moment, Steph is remarkable considering she has 2 children over the age of 18 and she hasnt aged whatsoever. Neighbours is so easy on the eye it is unreal.

There certainly wasn't a pool when the show first started - they always had to go next door to use the Ramsays. I don't remember any mention of later residents putting one in either and i'm sure we've had back garden shots fairly recently when there didn't appear to be one there. Hot tub yes, but not Pool. That said i don't remember the Hot Tub being installed either - that wasn't there at the start either.

ETA. Oops, just realised wek3e talking about the Hotel, not Robinson house.

Steph mentioned a poll there a few episodes ago, saying it wasn't much of a holiday for charlie just habging out there whilst she worked.

I don't see the big deal with Tyler and Piper's age gap. She's late teens and he's early 20's so it's only a couple of years.

The age gap between Paige and Brennan was much larger.

She's 16 and he's 25. Paige is 21 and Mark 34 but she wasn't a schoolgirl and he didn't have to have her parents' permission to go out with her. We know Piper is 16 as Brad said so when she got her tattoo and we know Tyler was born in 1991 otherwise his tattoo saying so wouldn't have been focused on. Piper has shown how immature she is with the flouncing and lying and the whole romantising of having sex with him after the formal. She's not ready for an adult relationship no matter how immature Tyler is. Actually this time he's being sensible but when they get caught when she's been told she can't go out with him and he thinks Brad is ok with it he will be the one vilified for messing about with a schoolgirl. It's a teatime friendly version of Jay in EE - with Piper in her PJs and being legal instead of naked and 14.

As Mrs Deschenal has pointed out, it isn't just a couple of years - it is 7 or 8 as he is 24/25 (born in 1991) and she is 16 (born in 1999). Plus, her still not legally being an adult and still at school does make a huge difference.

Paige is an adult (even if she does behave like a brat) and therefore deemed capable of making her own decisions. Also, as it happens, i seem to recall that some people did question the age gap and it was shown to cause them problems - her not being interested in the dinner conversations of Mark and his similarly aged friends Toadie and Sonya (she lied to leave and spent time with Tyler instead because she was bored) and him feeling ready to start a family whereas she didn't want to consider it for another 10 years or so - in other words when she'd be nearer the age he currently was.

I am glad they showed Tyler being uncommfortabe with her 'private' vlog and how forward she was being on it. Although he didn't say as much i think it was implied that he knew that he'd be the one in trouble if anybody else ever got wind of it's existence.

Totally agree, most of the girls in Neighbours right now are essentially caricatures with zero substance. The only one who is in any way interesting or believable is Piper.

It's good to see Tyler being the sensible one, Piper's only proving her parents are right to not allow them to date with her lying and wanting them to sneak behind Brad and Terese's backs.

Terese should just tell Piper that she would have to wait until she's 20 and if she still feels the same about Tyler then it's up to her because she would be an adult.

I will say though that the age gap really stood out between Paige and Brennan because he was a mature adult with a job and adult friends while she basically had a childish personality and liked to hang out with people her own age.

I'm not sure I'd say as old as 20 but I'd certainly be pointing out that if Piper will legally be a fully fledged adult at 18 (as well as having finished school) so she only has to wait until then to be able to do what she wants and waiting would show how committed she and Tyler are to the relationship so her parents would probably be fully behind them, even though their approval would no longer technically be needed - though it would always be preferable to have for family harmony.

Of course Tyler has already suggested this but Piper is a very impatient young lady, pushing and pushing not only her parents but him as well.

It seems like a lot of interesting storylines have come to an end lately and there is nothing new to replace them.

I think Madison has potential but the newspaper story has a been very weak. Paul showed no remorse for hurting her either which doesn't seem like him, he's always nice to his relatives especially when she's been sweet to him in return. I presume she will hook up with Tyler soon and Piper will be on the outer. I could see Madison and Tyler working as an odd couple, she's very pristine and he's a grease monkey.

It was great to see the motel pool. They should set more scenes there.

Yes but is clear it is a front to make her feel better. She is in love with Ben, so she would want him to be her date. She has a passion for fashion so i guess she likes whats in etc. As for social media it is better than Pipe up.


The girl is very immature. No mataure person would need to sneek around (unless it was a full blown affair). I know she likes him and wants him. He is going nowhere. She could wait a little longer.

Yes, I nearly cheered. And on screen confirmation (again) that Piper is 16, nearly (whatever that means) 17. So unless they're going to try and say that the 1991 refers to something other than his birth that is considerably more than just a 'couple of years'.

Can you marry without your parents permission at 16 is Australia? If you can't I'd have whipped straight round to remind Pipsqueak of that when she started on about being old enough to get married and finding Imogens celebrant.
