Paige going full-on slapper to try and tempt Father Jack off his holy path is very desperate and also in very bad taste.

She's only just 16 and he is 24. Paige wasn't still at school

Madison is pretty crap, but weirdly I still like her. I do think she is way to glam and princessy to be the spawn of Scott and Charlene though. I hope they use her wisely and don't ruin her like they did wirh Paige who started out as a promising character.

Talking of Paige, how desperate is she to defrock the priest, that she is now getting her norks out?! Surely the stench of desperation is a huge turn off. I would laugh if he refuses to leave the church for Paige, but then falls for Amy or someone and decides to hang up his cassock to be with her.

If he leaves the church it should be because he feels that is right for him. Paige is wrong to try to pressurise him over such a momentous decision. I used to like her but this is the pits!

Spoiler
you mean when Tyler has the sense to dump her when he realises she's been lying?

Spoiler
yes and the way he calmly explains to Brad that she had lied to him about having permission and apologises to Terese for the aggravation

also you need to remember there is a difference to normal maturity and emotional maturity, I know plenty of adults that are still emotionally very immature

Paul is too bitter to thank Mark

I must be the only person on here who dislikes PR. He is a thoroughly nasty bloke, who is well past his sell-by date as a heart throb. The number of vile things he has done to people is off the scale! Sorry, I loathe him! I know I'm in a minority of one!

So do I! Piper is emotionally immature. So, I would say, is Paul Robinson!

Piper is mature for her age which counts, unlike Xanthe who barely acts 16 most of the time.

Just watched today's episode and I'm confused.....when Terese invited Madison to stay at her place she refused to take any rent, giving the reason "you're family". In what way are they related - or is it just because Terese is still in love with Paul?

Well she doesn't seem as mature a lot of the time. Piper 'grew up' after 3 years away from her family then the deaths of 2 family members. For Xanthe, it's 'Ooh you kissed a boy, spill the goss'.

Paige is just awful. I'm actually quite gob smacked by that trailer. She really thinks that it is as simple as showing him what he is missing with sex and as soon as he's sampled her (sorry can't think of another way of putting it) he'll just forgot about his vocation? Also, how good does she think she is? Mark didn't find her skills in bed so amazing that he was willing to stay with her no matter what did he?

'm not a Catholic so don't fully understand the whole 'married to God' thing but I know eniugh that it is an over riding need which is unlikely to eradicate all sexual desire or longing for the closeness a romantic/sexual relationship would bring.

In all likelihoods, if she does manage to get him into bed, he will leave the church because he'll know he's broken his vows but he'll most likely hate himself and possibly her. And it would serve her right but he doesn't deserve it.

Paul is a difficult character. Of course he is horrible a lot of the time, very bitter and he has a knee jerk revenge reaction to anybody that hurts him and is power/money hungry.

But,I dan't hate him simply because I completely understand why he is like this. Terri (his first wife) duping him, betraying him, shooting him and ultimately killing himself corrupted everything he believed in and trusted and made him what he is today. He is determined to never be that vulnerable again buf of course the irony is he just ends up hurting himself as well as everybody else - who really don't deserve to suffer for terri's sins. But deep down, Jim's golden boy son, helen's adored grandson, Scott, Julie and especially Lucy's loving and supportive elder brother, Shane's funny and loyal best mate is still in there and we occasionally see it.

Piper constantly shows how immature she is by her behaviour - tantrums, lying to her parents, defying them, accepting expensive gifts without question. Xanthe is immature but so are all the teens- it's what you expect at 16 (thank the lord mine is not 16 any more - but still acts it quite often!)
