I am no prude but this storyline of Paige throwing herself at Jack every opportunity is awful. I would sooner watch a month elrth of Tyler and Piper than Paige. I am all for women being able to express their sexuality as much as men but this storyline just sits wrong with me. Jack has told her outright his stance on the situation and why he needs her to back off, yet she completely ignores it because what Paige wants, Paige thinks she should have. Worse still is how Brad and Lauren seem to be encouraging her. It is only a few weeks back there was uproar because Ned was trying it on with Lauren, or is it meant to be okay for Paige to do basically the same thing to Jack because she is a woman? Then let us look at what she is asking Jack to do. This isn't just about him giving up a job for her, but his vocation. Something he obviously felt strongly enough about to want to commit his life to the church. Really she hardly knows the real him at all, but insists she loves him etc. So, what, Jack gives up his calling for her and leaves the church, she has her fun and gets bored and turns her attentions elsewhere. Where does that leave Jack? With the selfish way Paige is behaving how could they have any sort of meaningful relationship anyway? All she is doing is showing how sly and manipulative she can be to get what she wants and doesn't care how she gets it. I am glad the other priest turned up and told her to get lost.
I also hate the message being put across that it is okay to use sexuality as a way to manipulate and get what you want.
