Hearing about all these complants about neighbours i really believe that the main issue is actually with the show being too serious. Every character is too serious about everything. When looking at Toadie in particular he has become so boring, whether that is down to him becoming a father and maintaining a career or down to the scriptwriters wanting to settle him down it has meant that he has lost his fun factor. Back in his House of Trouser days he was far more exciting but now he is just very boring.

Neighbours used to be good with its humour but it has been completely lost now. This is what i believe is the main downfall of the show.

That fella who Amy used to work for, he's a slimy git. He's now trying to flatter Madison in order to try and get her to work for him. She just glared at him when he looked at her. I think she now knows how slimy he is. Xanthe's going to either end up in trouble trying to get that dress or she's going to be disappointed. I'm sure there's good looking dresses for a lot less. Even Piper, who I love for her sensible and reasonable mind, told Xanthe that she'd be able to get a dress for a lot less than what the dress she wants costs. I think Xanthe just wants to be the centre of attention when she gets there.

if you accept him for what he is, that is not really a surprise, TBH I am more worried about Amy is still on the website, despite not having been involved for many years, the websites suggesting you can book a specific woman, why would she still be on the website? There is only so long you can keep a woman who no longer does it online.

Jimmy has made a remarkable recovery hasn't he? Barely time for a nap since his operation and he's home and scrambling off the sofa to answer the door without even a wince of pain.

He did. Probably by Karl wearing his cycling outfit during his lunch break. Karl is such an expert on everything so has removed the spleen with no pain or lasting effects. It'll be forgotten about by Tuesday and Jimmy will be off hunting Pokemon on his bike.

You're right. I've said on here a few times how dour and bland a lot of the characters are now. They all used to have a sense of humour and generally got on. Nowadays though it seems the norm that everyone has to be arsey with everyone else just to create tedious conflict. I don't want it to become like EE where everyone is vile to each other just for saying hello.

Much talk on here about the difficulty Jack would have in giving up the church for Paige. Oddly, I've just watched an episode of Father Brown which included the character of a young priest who did just that at the end of the story, ditching his priestly garb and walking off into the sunset to meet his 'Louise'. After all, it is only a story.

I'm starting to think Amy just needs to suck it up and tell people what she used to do.

Her running around trying to discredit this guy is a little hypocritical. After all, he ran the business sure, but her (and others) willing to do it for money is what enabled him to do that in the first place. Without willing girls he had no business to run.

Am I the only one that didn't think Xanthe's dress was all that after seeing it in the preview? And although it was obvious it was never going to be as easy as her just returning it for a refund, it would have been nice not to have that moment spoiled.

Like the poster above me says, Amy should just tell the people she's closest to what she used to do for a living. It's not like she was a prostitute. I think Terese now knows how deep her feelings are for Tyler after watching some of Piper's video for him. So, the beautiful Jodi Gordon/Anasta is in the next episode then. I remember when she was in Home and Away years ago. Looks like Xanthe will be in the crap after Piper throws that jug of whatever over Xanthe's expensive dress.

Piper is a lot more mature and intelligent than Madison. As Tyler said Piper makes him want to better himself. What will Madison do? Make him want to start dropping his kilt again? But forget all that, Madison is the same age as Tyler so they should live happily ever after right?

I have not gone quiet I have just watched 9 episodes on the trot. Piper is not being a spoiled madam. It's called having emotions. She is in love with Tyler and frustrated that other people keep pulling them apart. I suppose when Terese said she couldn't date Piper she is just supposed to turn off her feelings and forget about him? No this is a girl who is willing to fight for love, despite hypocritical criminals like Terese getting in the way.

They aren't shagging and never have so that's not an issue to be worried about. It's true love which is why the relationship is being so supported by the majority of people.

Not really how it panned it. Tyler and Piper were friends and grew a bond together. When Piper first made a move Tyler backed off due to her age. 6 months has gone by and they grew even closer to the point their feelings couldn't be denied. Tyler has been nothing but a gent throughout this process. Piper has done nothing but show love for Tyler. That hardly constitutes sniffing around. But alas, some of us operate on higher emotional intelligence level than others.

Nothing much changes on this forum. Still very anti-Piper, even more so since she has managed to nab the biggest hunk/most popular guy on RS. Funny that.

But alas, here is SS to set a few things straight...

Is it just me or is Terese the most deplorable character on RS?

Recently convicted of perverting the course of justice and now gallivanting around with a toy boy, yet she tells Piper she cannot date Tyler? Her coldness and complete disregard while doing so even more infuriating. Piper did her best to change her mind, Piper spoke from the heart and in a very sincere manner, yet Terese wasn't having it. Perhaps she should have tried a different approach such as bribing her with a bottle of vodka.

Everyone else however seems to ship Typer. Namely the following; Xanthe, Madison and MH and TB themselves. Mark didn't seem to have a problem with it, Brad didn't seem to care, he just didn't want to get on the wrong side of Terese (who can blame him?)

Just as Tyler said, when him and Piper are together, nothing else matters. It's other people who are causing the issues, no correction, ONE other person...Terese. Aside from a handful of posters on here who probably started dating pre-war, everyone else is pro Typer.

Some of the comments re: Piper's behaviour are funny. This is a girl who is in love and actually very mature and intelligent yet she is getting called a spoiled brat? As if she is supposed to deny her feelings and forget about Tyler because ONE other person doesn't agree with it.

The course of love never does run smooth on RS and I can see in the preview there is more trouble ahead. It is heartbreaking to see Piper being dragged through an emotional rollercoaster at the same time it is heartening to see they aren't quite torn apart in spite of this.

On another more positive note a poll of 83% has voted for Typer to stay together and this has been seen by the producers.

Not that anyone can ever settle down and enjoy the greatest love story ever told on screen for more than 5 minutes without another hiccup occurring, but Typer is blowing up on social media and for those in the Terese camp you know that each week that passes Piper is getting older and older and once that excuse goes out the window what will your argument be then?

As Piper said, they have towed the line for 6 months. 6 months is a long time when you are young, yet no respect or credit has been given to them for that.

on the whole I am enjoying the storyline, most of Piper's bratty moments come after getting advice from Xante, though why she listens I don't know, you can tell from Tyler's side he genuinely cares can't say I'm totally convince Piper isn't more that an infatuation

It is great to see Tom Quill back regularly. The producers must be reading my mind (or posts) maybe they should get me on the pay roll.

This man has style, class and dignity a cut above. His suit couldn't be anymore well fitted if it was his own skin.

Tom and Aaron make a great couple. Surprised some of the dark age posters on here haven't spoken out against their relationship yet...

Karl in his lycra. It has to be said that for a man of age he does have quite an athletic bottom. I did notice Tom having a cheeky look.

Jimmy gets himself in another accident. I guess there was too much doom and gloom so we needed some comedy relief. Thanks for that.

Mark and Steph...all they ever do is fall out over nothing and then have make up sex. The way Mark tried to pin the accident on Steph's ex, has he learned nothing from the Paul saga? He'd nick his own mum if he could.

Paige and John Doe/Father Jack, if Typer is a slow burner than this is watching paint dry. I know what I'd rather have given the choice of Paige and a bible...

Piper wants to lose her virginity to him on the night of the Formal when she will still be 16 so it is an issue.

She is also sending him 'private' sexually provocative? Videos which he himself has said he finds uncomfortable.

It has nothing to do with her 'bagging the most attractive guy on the street' (which i'd query anyway, personally i think Mark, Aaron and Jack are all more attractive, so actually is Paul but he's a very different age group), it is to do with how she is behaving - which is like a stroppy teen, lying, sulking and throwing tantrums.

Of course she isn't supposed to switch her feelings off but she is supposed to not lie to her parents and 'boyfriend' to get her own way.

That is not 'fighting for true love' it is being immature.
