I didn't know Eve and Jonathan were married!! That's brilliant. I loved Tad and he was mentioned yesterday, so I hope he does return

A long time lurker speaks...
Some people see sexuality as a spectrum, so Steph may have been discouraging Charlie from attaching labels to people. I vaguely remember Elly. Susan had to suspend her in her first week for daubing "Those who can do, those who can't teach" all over the school. K&S tamed her eventually, of course. Then she made a rap video with Tad and Paul (and Button?) as a school project. Also I clocked her name on that bit of wall Susan uncovered a few months ago where all the kids who they'd ever looked after had signed their name. Also it seems the school formal wasn't on a weekend, as they were in class the day after! |

This.
I would welcome a bisexual character in Neighbours - it is something that Soaps struggle with but then so do a lot of people in real life. There is still very much an attitude, amongst both straight and gay people that is is 'having your cake and eating it' or alternatively that the person must be gay but just doesn't have the courage to properly come out and is berating other gay people as a result or by making it seem like a choice. Hpwever, I really don't think Steph is bisexual simply because she never showed any sexual attraction to another woman during her lengthy prior stints and there has been no suggestion that other relationships to Belinda happened off screen. My take on it is that she fell in love with a woman whilst in a vulnerable state and any sexual element developed after the emotional connection, probably initiated by belinda who does appear to be gay. I suspect that if Belinda hadn't progressed it, it would have just been a close friendship and also if they had met under different circumstances, Steph might have rejected any sexual aspect to it. I might be wrong, but that is my reading of the situation. As i said in a prior post, i think a lot of people will have had same sex encounters if in certain segregated circumstances (Prison, Psych unit, Boarding school) just because they crave the human contact but they wouldn't be interested in standard circumstances and wouldn't class themselves as bisexual or even biicurious. Belinda homed in on Steph when she was vulnerable - don't forget what a mess she was in - giving up a child, running over Ringworm etc. She took advantage of her. I did feel sorry for Belinda yesterday, although I dislike her. Yet another of Paul's victims! He encouraged her to hope for her nursing qualification to be returned, and to make a move on Steph - all to feed his desire for 'revenge'. The man is a psycho., but I dare say he'll blame somebody else. And shortly his blinkered desire for revenge will damage his own daughter and possibly her relationship with the devil child. Mark should have left him to rot in prison rather than doggedly pursuing Julie Quill! Paul is too small-minded to admit he owes his freedom to Mark- just as he was too small-minded to admit that he, not Mark, was responsible for Kate's death! UGH!!!!! |

Just catching up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays episodes. Belinda arrives for lunch with Steph (which looked like a lot of trouble to go to) with flowers and wine, and that doesn't set off any alarm bells at all with Steph? The writers are so lazy with all these contrivances that they cook up.
Loved Gary giving Xanthe a lecture about how hard it is to earn money. Then next scene he is stuffing a giant burger into his mouth at a cafe Do like the actor/character though. He's great in jack Irish as well - a show well worth watching I think.

So who is that Elly fancies then? Tyler or Mark? I think Belinda's fighting a losing battle with Steph. I have a feeling that Elly might either place doubts in Mark's mind about Steph being right for him or encourage Belinda to keep trying. Piper will likely be raging when she finds out that Elly has now started trying to get Mark's attention. Karl and Aaron should have moved the bikes much further up towards the garage instead of having them right next to the road. It looks like Jodi (Elly) has had work done on her face. Her nose looks narrower than it did in Home and Away.

Good grief so politics is even taking over Neighbours now. There's no escaping it... ARRRHHH
Anything to get away from Saint Page trying to compete with God though. I'm quite liking Mr. West too. He makes Paul look like a pussy cat. |

With regards to the painting on the roads surely Karl has enough brains to understand that he shouldnt be painting on the road. |

That voice over of how generous and kind she is as she served waifs and strays was pretty vomit inducing. Don't tell me she would still be hanging round there if she didn't reckon she'd get to see Jack. |

Also olaying with atoddler, just so Jack could see what a wonderful Mother she'd make.

From being likable and different to desperate, selfish and false. It really is a shame. |

I was waiting for a deep and intelligent vlog about a teacher who tries to shag someone else's boyfriend. It would have been all mature and stuff 😉. Of course it would all go wrong and would lead to a social media ban which would be broken in about 10 minutes.

ok I got distracted for a moment, point is Karl is very smart and as a Doctor of any of the above, knows that simply adding a cycle lane to a road, even in protest is not going to end well, and only upset those who are already against him. |

If she was so into helping others she would have done it before. Simple.

She appeared selfish quite a lot but I recall when she kept talking about her 'mean' mum and it turned out that her mum was nice enough, if slightly career-minded, à la Terese

And neither of them cares about anybody else so long as they get what they want! And as for Paige's Mother Theresa act yesterday ! I can't remember her ever showing any interest in Nell before! Or feeding the homeless! Looks like Jack is going to choose the Church - good for him - but we'll see how long she keeps up the do-gooding act once he's made his choice! On the other hand, it would be a good thing if she thought about somebody other than herself for a change! Wonder how long it will last? |

I was quite shocked by yesterday's episode, the older priest collapses, Jack shouted for help, and Dr Karl wasn't just happening to be walking/cycling by. Obviously the old guy is doomed - unless Karl has now reached such heights that even if he arrives late he can raise patients from the dead

![]() ![]() Jack will soon come to realise that Karl actually is God. All the miracle working he does as a GP while also being part of a band and running a bar at the same time is just unbelievable! |

In contrast I think it was actually cruel of Jack to go up to her and tell her he wants to be with her when he hadn't chosen to be with her, he should have stayed away, as he'd asked her to do until he had come to a decision, but you all hate Paige so none of you mentioned that bit |

what's wrong with that? I did it with my Niece's and nephews just in time to send back to my brother ...
![]() ![]() ![]() On the subject of Paige, I don't hate her - in fact I used to think I was one of the few people on this thread who didn't dislike Paige. But the way she has been written lately has ruined the character. After losing her brother and grandfather (who cared about her enough to give her a large sum of money for a wedding gift - which Paul promptly conned him out of) she totally ignored her family in its time of grief to stay by the bedside of somebody she didn't know from Adam! It seemed that was more important than going to her grandfather's funeral! She even virtually ignored Ned because she was so obsessed with the new bloke - and Ned was her brother. Scriptwriters have ruined the character, and she's been so self-obsessed about Jack it is hard to find sympathy for her- and I speak as one who initially liked her in the face of much criticism. |

Yes, it's a wonder this has not yet been i inflicted on us ! Piper, and PaIge, ned to take a good long look at themselves. Maybe the fact that they're both hellbent on getting their own was regardless, is something to do with them both being Drab's daughters?

I don't recall her being that likeable in the beginning...!
She appeared selfish quite a lot but I recall when she kept talking about her 'mean' mum and it turned out that her mum was nice enough, if slightly career-minded, à la TereseOf course you could still understand her motives (she wanted her Mum to be happy and for her to have the perfect nuclear family) as you can now (she's fallen in 'love' and wants to be with that person and doesn't understand why she ca,'t be) but now it just comes across as willful and selfish. Maybe it is a DNA thing from Brad. I think it is more to do with how they've been brought up though - arguably both neglected in some ways (Paige's parents seem to have been away a lot and Piper had those years in Canada) which made them self sufficient to a certain degree but they"ve also both been indulged, maybe to make up for not spending as much time with their parents as they should and the parents feeling guilty about it which has resulted in them having a high sense of entitlement and belief that they deserve everything they want immediately and if they don't get it, somebody else is to blame who deserves punishment. Frankly, neither have had boundaries or been told 'no' and react badly if/when it happens i for whatever reason. |

The old priest is quite aggressive and is being quite the opposite of what he'll be preaching when he's in the pulpit. I think Jack will be better off away from him if that's what he's like when Jack comes to him with a problem. I think Jack is being very teasing when it comes to Paige. He's just basically stringing her along. Paige needs to just stop allowing him to talk like this to her. He's pretty pathetic when he starts whining on to Paige about how he finds it difficult to choose. Sonya's too sensitive to be Mayor. She'll probably be manipulated by others that will see her sensitive weakness. It looks like Jack might be going back to being a priest if the old priest has died.
