As the worst casting for a teen ever. We can't even care that 14 year old VJ (now meant to be 16/17) has impregnated a 20 something year old woman when he looks older than her. Paige could still mention him even if he didn't visit.

Yes, the actor not being able to come back doesn't mean Paige shhouldn't ever mention him since he was supposedly the only person she was close to in her adopted family.

It might not be the writers intention, but Paige never mentioning him just makes it seem as though he has been discarded as no further use to her now she's got her birth parents so doesn't need him anymore.

In other words, reinforces the image of her as being selfish and a user.

the writers were probably told by producers to never mention him again, it's stupid and petty but I see it happening.


The way Paige has been written since the reveal and more so since Matt's death has completely re written her character

Scriptwriters seem to think that they can rewrite characters with ease, yet it really depends on the character. While Paige is a bad example Kyle would be a good example. The Kyle that started the show was completely different to the Kyle that left the show. That was due to gradual changes that seemed natural to the character. Where as Paige seems to have had more of a personality transplant which has not worked with the character.

Paul is becoming so tedious now.

i love paul but even i am beginning to tire of his vendetta.... i'm sure he wasnt always written so pantomimey (is that a word?)....

Surely that was some kind of weird dream sequence when Tattoo turned up to question Terese about Lassiters? Or had I eaten something bad and was tripping???

Gotta love the description of the show sometimes, compared with the reality of what actually happens. "Amy strips off....." turns out (rather obviously) to be Amy wearing exactly what she might wear to work, bar some frilly bits for sleeves.

I mean, Paige wears less when she goes jogging! Talking of how badly they have messed up Paiges character, the writers have a track record of not knowing what to do with certain characters. Mark, Matt, Brad....they have never been written particularly well.

And gosh what a shock....someone was videotaping Amy. Could have seen that coming a mile away.

I'm still a fan of Paul. He is a good antidote for the petty bickering elsewhere.

And finally, I see with Archie Quill, the producers are continuing with seemingly popping into the local McDonalds to see if anyone fancies appearing in a soap.

Just caught up on yesterday's eppy. I liked it and couldn't put my finger on why until I realised there were no teens or Jimmy/Charlie. It made for a more grown up show and I think that's what's wrong at the moment. I like Ben/Xanthie/Pipee but there is simply too much of them I the show.

Good to see a new plot line starting with the sneaky camera too. I wonder if it's got something to do with Julie Quill trying to get revenge for losing her hotel. Maybe she used Archie to set up the cameras which would explain his hanging around,

That was a bit weird. I thought something was off with him when he got into the lift and wasn't quite sure where it was going to go (the plot, not the lift).

Terese really needs to do something about the reception staff at Lasiters as yet again, someone is able to access her private office. I know Gary was lying about them letting him up, but she still though he was allowed up by them. And how many times did Paul get unexpected visitors?

This annoys me too. I mean, any confidential items would be locked away (you would have thought) or in the case of when Paul lived there, it seemed like anyone could just arrive unannounced. Surely there would be some form of security?

Although, this is Neighbours, the land void of any password protected devices so i know we shouldn't be too surprised.

I thought Amy would have been more cautious than that. Of course, he went slow with her when they met and had a drink. He finally got what he wanted though. I'm surprised she didn't see the camera. It's not exactly small. He comes across as a creep. I see Paul has Gary exactly where he wants him. I could have laughed at Terese's reaction when finding out that it wasn't a kid that she was in a lift with, but a man.

So, who was that guys 'boss'. Ryan seems a little obvious.

So agree about the office, Paul's former home. I thought most privately owned apartments in hotels or blocks like that where the lift opens directly into it have a key that needs to be used in the lift to access that floor so only residents have that. Anybody else has to be buzzed up by Reception after contacting the resident.

What an awful episode by the way - where's the snake, is the snake in Steph's shoe, will it bite Toadie? Who cares?

I've learned to completely tune him out now. Been watching Neighbours since it began and he hasn't grown, hasn't changed, he just goes around and around with the exact same characterisation. It's beyond irritating.

Have been offline for a few days with broadband trouble, but Paul sickened me yesterday. He has learned nothing from his brush with prison - and he is threatening to get somebody else banged up after whinging about his horrible experience in there, The man is immoral - he is blackmailing Gary, threatening him and stealing Therese's business [an (but getting Gary to do it), What is there to lie about this creep?

I loved the 'who will get bit' snake stuff. Even though Channel 5's EPG told you who it was going to be.

I've just noticed that my series link vanished and I've got no episodes since Monday's. I was so bored watching the last episode that I thought I'd maybe watched them and forgot I'd don't it as its all a bit tedious,

On a serious note, I do agree that they over did the snake drama and "who will get bitten?" element. They didn't need the Toadie part.

Who is spying on Amy? Who's this mysterious Boss guy? If it's Ryan, why would he bother. He has nothing really to gain from targeting her, as part of his payout from Lassister's was to leave Amy alone. This is a pretty dark story when you think about it.

Meanwhile, why is everyone trusting Alison? Can't believe she would want to be in the same house as the woman who slapped her. I guess they have forgotten all about that. The writing lately has been really messy since the explosion.

Weird. Exactly the same thing happened to me, which is why I was binge watching today.

Is it bad that i didn't have any sympathy for Elly being bitten, if anything i enjoyed it a bit!

Never mind the snake, how did Nell's toy get in Steph's boot? She took them straight off and flung them outside, then put them on again the next morning. Maybe the snake snuck it in.

And I wish they'd stop the snake close ups, they're giving me the heebie jeebies!
