Also, doesn't that little girl have Cystic Fibrosis? It might be a good idea to actual show something about that rather than just mentioning it a few times but then saying that Jack is looking after her because her mother is having cancer treatment as well.

That might, just maybe a little, mean that maybe people would care slightly more for her - rather than just 'random girl of the week trying to outdo Jimmy in the annoying contest'.

I'm not happy that The Lawman was a heel.

The Lawman and The Shamrock were faces, dammit!

And I agree about the comment someone made on the previous pager about Jack and Amy having actual chemistry.

What a dire episode today, grown people acting like 5 year olds.

For those interested in knowing who Jamie Lawson is:-

That was a terrible, cringeworthy episode. Isn't it also quite funny that Toadie, Sonya, Susan, Karl, John, Mark, Xanthe and Ben all seemed to have a day off with no work to worry about whatsoever just to help a girl that they don't know about for the day. Also wasn't it so kind of Terese to offer her office out just when she is starting her role as an owner and has important files strewn throughout it. Very poorly written episode. It was also embarrassing to watch. Hands down the worst episode i have seen. Although i didn't mind the Ned, Lauren, Brad scenes. Still i would rather watch boring Bridget Parker eps that see that abhorrent embarrassment again. And that is saying something!

seriously, what the HELL was that episode all about??!! the script writers must've been on drugs or something to come up with that pile of crap!!

sid was the only saving grace of the whole episode!! although how he's gone from olive colour to having stripes, i dont know....

although, i do actually like the relationship between ned and piper and ned and lauren and he is so fit too!!

I dont get why they did it, but this episode is obviously an homage to BatKid.

As for Sid...
Spoiler
That's not Sid. It's his identical twin brother!
”

Sorry husband I made your post shorter because I'm not responding to it all. When I was young (not that I'm an old hag or anything) we listened to the charts on a Sunday night and watched TOTP on Thursdays. My own kids have Spotify subscriptions, watch Kerrang TV and love watching festival coverage. At their age I knew what was in the top 10 - they couldn't tell you what is number one. I don't think it matters these days and there is way more choice. My boys will hear something they enjoy when watching Reading or Glastonbury or watching something online then go on Spotify and find that band. I would have loved that ability at their age. I don't think it's an age thing - I think it's a choice thing and no one cares what's in the charts like 80s/90s kids did.

Spoiler
That's Sid's identical twin Cuddles. He's the friendly one. Sid is recovering after biting what he thought was a woman but actually it was a human/horse hybrid. We all know antivenin is produced by horses antibodies and it's scared the bejesus out of poor Sid.

Strange you said that, I thought that

Spoiler
The act of biting the human/horse hybrid actually caused Sid to suffer and there was a bit of antivenin stored with in the half horse thing that got in to poor Sid's system and it caused him to develop some new stripes.

Still, we know if Elly does break her leg, they will have to put up a large black curtain around her and call a vet out to do you know what. It seems that the only way to remove Elly will be a leg break!

Yes, I noticed that! Is Sid now so successful that he has a n understudy? Or are there two snakes loose in Ramsey Street?

When horses break their leg, they are usually shot! We can but hope!

I agree, but Olympia said in an interview on DS, that viewers are really hoping Jack and Paige get it together! Really? Do they read this thread?

So I am afraid, folks, it looks as if Jack and Paige end up together, plus Tyler and Piper, and probably Therese and scumbag Paul. what a copout! I think I'll stop watching!

The social media people seem to want them all to get together. They don't seem to be the sharpest to be honest but maybe the writers are going with the stupid majority.

It's nice to come on here and have a giggle. The atmosphere is way more pleasant than in some of the other threads and now there are no arguments here either.

You're being generous though I suppose Terese did manage to stick it for much longer, poor woman.

I kind of liked the idea of what they were going for with Poppy, sort of Neighbours 80's style.

Surprisingly, I'm not that fussed Ned is back. Hands up who wanted Lauren to turn Brad down again, fancy proposal and all.

How many snakes are on the loose in Ramsay Street? The one that bit Eilly was brown and the one that had Xanthe bailed up in the shed was striped? And they showed the brown snake again or was that another one??

The Lawman was back, really liked that!!

Today's eppy was right outta 1986. I wonder if it was deliberate throwback because many fans keep pining for those days? I smiled a couple of times but mostly I cringed.

I am quite enjoying the snake escapades. It's always terrified me the thought of living down under with all those creepy crawlies.

Is it just me or does something really dramatic need to happen? I think we are due a big returnee or something like that. Its to easy to miss an eppy.

I wonder is Sid has brought his whole family to live with him in Ramsay Street? That's why Xanthe's snake looked different, it was Sid's wife Sally.

All the baby snakes will start sprouting of of Paige's head if she doesn't stop her sour looks every time Jack walks into a room because I'm telling yous, she's going to turn the poor bugger to stone one of these days.

That episode was bizarre!

They are doing their best to make us feel sorry for Elly and like her but she started off so badly I don't think I will ever like her.

Brad goes from bad to worse. I do like Piper and Ned's friendship though.

That was weird - is it Lauren's hair?? Way to move on, Ned!!

I'm beginning to despise Brad now. Lauren is way too good for him.
