How many revenge videos has Piper released already? And she still has full access to internet and her phone etc without supervision. She released revenge porn and distributed it, and got away with it because it was Paige and Tyler. And she STILL has access to internet etc freely. I know soaps are far stepped from reality, but huge crimes like this bug me.
If i were her parent that laptop and smart phone would have been gone, possibly after the first incident, certainly after the second. Leave her a basic phone, purely for making phone calls as a safety precaution (you can still buy them without the Net) and only let her have supervised access to a computer to do homework on. Not being funny, but if i'd been found to have been making nuisance phone calls, or sending poison oen letters (which would be the equivalent back in the 80s as we had no internet) I wouldn't have just been allowed to keep using the phone with no restrictions and i've have been punished some other way - had my record player removed from my room and not allowed to watch videos or something until they were sure i'd learnt my lesson. ETA. I do agree that she is in need of some better parenting - both tough love and love love. I'm sure Brad and Terese do love her but they tend to be wrapped up in their own issues and i think just find it easier to either turn a blind eye much of the time. |

The whole thing at school is so incestuous that it is impossible to conduct an enquiry like this - it should have been passed to an objective party elsewhere in the Department of Education.
Also, did Susan only look at piper's work or the whole classes because for a fair comparison, it should have been everybody's. The thing is, couldn't anybody have copied that vlog when it was up? I realise that Piper took it down fairly quickly (but not only seconds as she claims) but it was up long enough for Brad to see it on the day (as well as Elly) so how many others? It's possible to copy such things isn't it, so the 'evidence' would remain even though Piper took it down? So, again, even though we know Ned did it from her phone, no real reason for Brad to enquire as to where it had come from. I like piper too by the way in that i find her an interesting and sometimes sympathetic character. I agree the show would be poorer without her. But it doesn't mean I won't stop complaining about some of the things she does. |

When have I ever said that her actions aren't believable? Especially for somebody of her age?
That doesn't mean that I can't find if annoying or frustrating and take some enjoyment, as a viewer, that one of her knee jerk reactions is having some consequences for her. That said, i was also once a 16 year old girl and know I wouldn't have reacted as she does (i would have seen that it could hurt other people for one thing) and if I had, I would have been dealt with much more severely than she ever has been. I don't have kids myself but most of my friends do, mostly teenagers and i also know they wouldn't act like that either and again, if they did, more would happen to them than a wagged finger for a few hours - they probably wouldn't get unsupervised use of a laptop or phone for weeks as a start. |

I loved her scenes with Lauren, that was parenting. I hope it won't come to bite Lauren in the butt later on.
Tyler simply is an adult man, and it would be simply wrong for him to get into a relationship with Piper, who CLEARLY isn't anywhere near in maturity to him. I'm bummed they're not going with Paige and Tyler, they actually work, and it's been long time coming. Tyler and Paige work. Tyler and Piper don't. Amy and Jack have far more chemistry than Jack and Paige - and Amy isn't nagging for him to give up his vocation as a priest. Unfortunately the writers don't listen to reason and seem to be intent on foisting two unsuitable relationships on us! |

Unless you save the web page as you see it, anything else can't be guaranteed as solid evidence. Piper must have downloaded the web page before she deleted it as a reminder of how much she dislikes Elly. Ned must have emailed Elly a copy of that web page.

I think Elly will be revealed to have some illness, soon she will be having more headaches and migraines. That will redeem her to the village after Piper exposes her.

What's the betting Elly will be made to look a bitch by one of Piper's famous vlogs, will collapse then will be diagnosed and miraculously cured by Dr Karl expert in everything medical? Piper will apologise, have a tech ban and everyone will suddenly love Elly even Steph who ought to know better as she's far from daft and doesn't like Elly at all.
Perhaps after her miracle cure she will turn into Pollyanna and everyone will love her as she skips about Ramsey Street tossing flowers and singing gaily as she helps little old ladies across the road! And then we won't need the FFS thread any more! |

They've already tried to garner sympathy for Ellie over the snakebite story, and failed, but I wouldn't put it past them to go down the avenue suggested by Mrs D and F&T.

Did Elly just explain away Piper's "grudge" against her because she's not used to strong, independent women? Seriously, that describes Terese and Imogen, two women Piper has grown up with and is in fact strong and independent herself. I don't believe for a second that Ned would have gone against his sister for Elly. He's not that into her.
I always love seeing Belinda, but everytime I fear they're going to turn her into a psycho, and perpetuate the negative stereotype of psycho lesbian. Sadly, it appears that is exactly what they will do. I hope there's one hell of a twist and things aren't what they seem. |

Having said that, I agree with everyone, Susan should not have conducted that inquiry. And then at the meeting, it should have been Therese, not Brad, supporting Piper. Surely the deputy head could have conducted the investigation, s/he is above Elly and, being a faceless person, is impartial. I agree with the points about how the revenge stuff is coming back to bite Piper in the backside. She's always had that spiteful streak and it's interesting that now she's actually the victim she's not being believed because of her previous actions. I think that's very realistic, and it's good to show that such actions can have long lasting consequences on how people perceive you. What I do wish though, is that Elly had found some way of getting that video off the internet. Perhaps having it so that someone had made a copy in the short period it was online. That would send the message that once you've shared something on the internet it is never really private or anonymous. I hope that once people realise that Elly is lying and that Piper is for once the victim that they don't just do the whole 'poor Piper' routine. If that was my daughter I would express my sympathy and give her the support but also have a frank talk about why she wasn't believed initially and how her attitude going forwards needs to be more mature because of it all. I might be a bit optimistic to have something so nuanced and realistic in Neighbours! I really hope Mark gets into proper trouble for the bugging of the confessional. Amy will be devastated to know that Mark was eavesdropping on that confession. I am not at all religious but that was an incredibly disrespectful thing to do to the parishioners' privacy. |

The thing that got me with Mark bugging the confessional (aside from doing it in the first place), is that he was listening in and as soon as Amy started speaking, he knew it wasn't the person stalking Steph as they know it is a man. So why didn't he turn the volume down - at least for a few minutes? He could have turned it back up, just to check it was still her later on. And i assume it is being taped because he wasn't sat there the whole time.

This is the same Mark who had to drag Paige from their wedding in her wedding dress to get arrested, because he wanted to follow the book. But when he wants to, he will throw the book away to help his cause. |

It was Amy, he knows her, she was pouring her heart out, he wanted to listen. I'm glad they found the bug so early on, and I'm so happy it was no help in catching the attacker.

I'm a bit confused, is it going to be Belinda as the stalker and not weird snake man? The way it ended yesterday she is definitely up to something.

I agree with the posts above, Susan should not have conducted that inquiry and why was Brad there when he said he was going to stay out of it. You could see that Brad was never going to listen to Piper whether she was right or wrong. It should have been conducted at the school rather than at Susan's house and with people that are not related to either Piper or Elly. I can't wait for them to find out what Elly is really like.
I personally don't think Paige should be with Tyler or Jack, she keeps going round in circles with both of them and it is getting boring. Tyler deserves someone better and someone that is in to him. She should be on her own for a while, or is that not possible in soapland! Mark was out of order for bugging the confessional. I get sick of him being an absolute stickler for the rules but whenever it suits him, he can break them! I felt for Amy, she will probably never go to confession again! |

The idea of the confessional "being sacred" is ridiculous. If the priest hears of a crime he should tell the police, thereby protecting society and not the criminals. Jack should be locked up for obstructing justice. The real world should bcome first before fictional fairy land.
