Agree with the four posters above... I barely listen to a minute during the day now... It used to be my constant companion!

Wake Up To Money's Adam Parsons has joined Sky News as a business correspondent.

I never listen at all now, and I was an avid fan when it first started - the days when Danny Baker saved it from tanking.

This is local radio at it's worst and hospital radio at it's best..........Truly awful.

BBC 5 Live gone from a Rolls Royce to a sick badly ridden rusty bicycle with punctures.

Just an ex listener that does not want to be...............”

As others have posted about your post Harry...agree with every point right down to the bottom.

As soon as it went to Salford it changed......there are no cornerstones....just droan.

I had 5L on at all times and now only for the sport which is still fantastic.

UAN, is excellent when Rhod Sharp is on, WUTM is EXCELLENT..... Breakfast is JUST about ok, and i love Kermode and Mayo....but the rest is bland and calling it National Local Radio is an affront to BBC local Radio.....actually I quite like Tony Livesley as well but not enough to listen to Drive...actually I would give HIM afternoon edition.

I have tried with Afternoon Edition but why o why do they need TWO presenters....not needed....give it to one person and let them make it their own.

So there you are....just my opinion but a great shame

Good to hear someone with an even bigger gob than Nolan putting him firmly in his place. What I'd give for a presenter like that here.

Stephen Nolan's doing a dual show with the Steve Gruber Show from Michigan .

I thought SN was a overweight loud mouth , but this Steve Gruber is even worse , as for some of the American listeners , Radio 5 obviously hasn't got the monopoly on nutty callers !

It STILL never ceases to amaze me how many journalists the BBC re-employ. Parsons left once before and very quickly seem to get back in. Its as if producers and editors want to keep well in with the practice of jobs for the boys. Irrespective of his ability lets hope this time he has gone for good although with the SKY cutbacks that may not be guaranteed

I assume one of the attractions for Parsons is he'll be working out of Sky's new business unit that opens this month in the Baby Shard in the City.

Does he ever have to go to Salford?

With Lewis Goodall from Newsnight, that's two signings from the BBC in a week.

Nolan was unbearable last night with his usual anti-Trump rants and then saying he and the BBC were impartial.

Gruber was excellent.

Not usually a fan of Afternoon Edition, but I did enjoy the interview with Pixies frontman Black Francis today.

Chuck Leavell, The Rolling Stones the keyboard player for many years, was interviewed by the increasingly embarrassing Dotun Adebayo on UAN last night.Instead of letting the man speak about the Stones new album, Adebayo proceeded to interrupt him and then tell his own totally boring anecdotes of the people he had met in the blues industry, as if trying to out do the bloke being interviewed, who had to stay silent for long periods of time or he had just gone to sleep hearing Adebayo drone on.. A complete waste of time and UAN should be renamed the Dotun Adebayo Show.Obviously out of sheer desperation FiveLess also had him doing the 10pm slot last week, the controller must be telling him that he is indispensable ,either that or the quality of this station has just reached yet another all time low.

Yes I heard him on the 10 O'clock show a couple of times and he certainly did ramble on!!!

Liked the sound of his own voice I felt...

Rhod Sharp said he is on holiday for a few weeks so Dotun will probably be covering

I hope not.

I used to like Dotun, well, more the features that he covered, but it is now just the Dotun Adebayo Show.

It's usually Dr Karl tonight, which is probably my favourite UAN feature outside of the Gadget Detective.

He better let Dr Karl speak. I want to hear his expert knowledge not Dotun's anecdotes.

The programme tonight on the Brazilian team plane crash as well as the other previous footballing tragedies was the sort of programme that does the station proud. Chapman shows what an excellent and versatile presenter he is.

From being the best 10am show of the week on a wednesday, we get the worst show on the station on a thursday. A relentless feminist agenda from beginning to end.

I'm not sure why Afternoon Edition are spending an hour on gun crime in Chicago today , is this in the News over here.

Followed by Jeanette Winterton talking about her new book. I switched stations at 1.20pm , no more Radio 5 today for me !
