I'm not sure if I'm remembering this correctly but Silas wanted to kill Lynsey on Fright Night but what was his motive? Lynsey Nolan (not Butterfield) was not 'slutty' or 'depraved' so wouldn't be deserving of Silas' treatment surely? Or was it because she had rumbled him as the killer?

I think it was because she'd rumbled him. Plus he just really enjoyed torturing her, it became like a game, because she knew but couldn't prove it.

She wasn't slutty at all, but there was one time she went on Jamil and Lee's radio show and dressed up as a slutty nurse, and Silas tried attacking her then. He thought all girls were sluts, basically - India wasn't slutty either, she just did internet dating.

Lynsey was because of the radio show and because she gave sexual health advice which he thought was wrong ... and later was more about his desire to "win" his "game" with her, as she was the only one who had thus far managed to outsmart him

The two women he was most desperate to kill, Lynsey and Texas, but never managed to both ended up getting murdererd by other people. Just shows how bonkers living in that village is...
