I can't say I'm overly excited, not a fan of raisins with chocolate but some of you might be

It's been in Tesco's Extra stores for a while, in the Irish food section, not bad but I preferred the Rock Shandy.

Now if they'd only bring back the Old Jamaica bars I might be tempted to eat some Cadbury chocolate again.

I am a bit surprised that the link did not include the Aztec Bar
That was Cadburys version of the Mars Bar.

Is it true the Irish bars use the "old" recipe for Dairy Milk or was that a legend?

It was true, Irish Dairy Milk was the nicest for a long time but a good few years ago we started getting the sugary crap one too, I think they stopped making it here and we just get imports now, its a shame cos it was amazingly creamy and not too sweet.

The big 200g Dairy Milk bars are still made here and ok.

It's the smaller ones with Oreo or Dime and lots of other mixtures which are made abroad.

I can't understand why anybody would ever choose to buy products from Cadbury or Nestle when there are plenty of far superior products available from more ethical manufacturers.

As much as I adore Hotel Chocolat and other "premium" brand chocolate and often eat it at home, I can get 4 Twirls/Mars/Toffee Crisps/whatever is on offer for a £1 from Tesco and they do me just fine for after my sarnies at work.

To be quite frank, if I'm tucking into a tasty bar of chocolate I couldn't give a shiny shite about whether it's ethical chocolate or not.

But watch out that the 4 in a pack mars products sold at the supermarkets are no longer the full size bars.

YES. I've been saying this for years.

Old Jamaica was to die for.

They're not but they're an OK size for pudding after my lunch at work.

I have to admit that if there was one Cadbury bar to make me break my boycott it would be that one. I seem to remember it being in stock at B&M Discounts about a 18 months ago.

They had some twisted, evil abomination of a version that was dark chocolate I saw online, the large bar with the ship is the one for me. according to Cadbury's website it was a special blend of milk and dark choc
I love dark chocolate too but its not Old Jamaica. I'm going to try and make my own, I've a jar of raisins soaking in rum for about 18 months now to use with ice cream. They will be diverted

Old Jamaica did return for a little while two or three years back.

I'd like the Cappuccino bar back. I love coffee flavour with chocolate.

Anyone seen the new "Big Taste" bars they have? One is basically Oreo (not sure why they went with that), another is similar to the old "Top Deck" bar and the third is like a Whole Nut bar but with caramel as well.

First thing I thought of when I saw this thread- I loved Aztec- not sure what I'd think of them now though.
